bradmccarroll (57), San Antonio, Texas, USA Apr 30, 2007 Updated: May 13, 2007750ml bottle. Poured a opaque, but not cloudy, pure gold color. The smell reminded me of some hefeweizens, with its fruity nose, possibly orange or lemon. It had a spicy initial flavor with bits of honey poking through as it rolled across the tongue. Full bodied and leaves a strong warm, lingering finish. Very nice sipping beer. dmac (1423), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Apr 29, 2007 750 ml bottle thanks to Rob for the hookup on this one. Pours a clear cooperish golden color with a huge whiteish head. Aroma is yeasty with spices, pepper and hint of banana notes. Flavor is the same and very smooth and drinkable. Exceellent Triple. troyc (1173), Lubbock, Texas, USA Apr 28, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a clear golden color with a huge, long lasting white head. Excellent lacing as well. Sweet aroma, with a peppery character. Taste is pretty complex, with some spice and citrus. Yeast and some alcohol were also in the flavor. Smooth from start to finish... with a pretty good mouthfeel, but not that impressive. Overall, a very good beer that definitely met my expectations. kevd193213 (477), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA Apr 28, 2007 Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of bananas and yeast with some other spices. Taste of hops, faint alcohol and malt. Nice even finish. Great tripel, and I am indifferent to this style so if it impressed me that’s saying something.
