Apr 30, 2007 Updated: May 13, 2007750ml bottle. Poured a opaque, but not cloudy, pure gold color. The smell reminded me of some hefeweizens, with its fruity nose, possibly orange or lemon. It had a spicy initial flavor with bits of honey poking through as it rolled across the tongue. Full bodied and leaves a strong warm, lingering finish. Very nice sipping beer.

Apr 29, 2007 750 ml bottle thanks to Rob for the hookup on this one. Pours a clear cooperish golden color with a huge whiteish head. Aroma is yeasty with spices, pepper and hint of banana notes. Flavor is the same and very smooth and drinkable. Exceellent Triple.

Apr 28, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a clear golden color with a huge, long lasting white head. Excellent lacing as well. Sweet aroma, with a peppery character. Taste is pretty complex, with some spice and citrus. Yeast and some alcohol were also in the flavor. Smooth from start to finish... with a pretty good mouthfeel, but not that impressive. Overall, a very good beer that definitely met my expectations.

Apr 28, 2007 Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of bananas and yeast with some other spices. Taste of hops, faint alcohol and malt. Nice even finish. Great tripel, and I am indifferent to this style so if it impressed me that’s saying something.

Apr 27, 2007 Bottle ; nose very yeasty, with some caramel, papaya, banana, and spiciness; lightly hazed yellow gold with a big white head; flavor very peppery, with light fruits and some coriander; body medium with some hop bitterness, alcohol, and pepper in the finish! Excellent! This must be from Belgium, It doen’t taste like Maine! (Just Kidding, I like the Bar Harbor Cadillac Stout a lot also!)

Apr 26, 2007 Bottle Light copper/golden pour with huge creamy head and great lacing. Sweet fruity malty aroma, some banana and citrus. Flavor has a bit more of a hoppy note, mainly in the aftertaste. Very well hidden alcohol. Sweet and smooth, very good brew.

Apr 21, 2007 750 bottle . . pours cloudy gold with a thick white head . . aroma is malt, bananas, citrus, honey, spice, bubble gum . . taste is bubble gum, slightly hoppy, and a little bitter, yeasty, apricot, grapefruit aftertaste . . awsome beer!

Apr 19, 2007 Golden color with a good white head. Smells like caramel, honey. Tastes much the same, with some sweet and subtle flavors. Very nice beer.
