pet3rman (206), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 10, 2007 Updated: May 17, 2007I am caught on the fence on this beer. Aroma, appearance were ok. The flavor was definitly a little sweet, maybe that of peach, but quickly gave way to an almost moldy taste. I wasn’t fanatical about that. Needs another go. UselessGdTaste (363), Long Beach, California, USA Feb 8, 2007 Fruity smell. This had very light and delicate appearance, with a very deep and complex taste. I haven’t really had anything as deep as this in the color that it is. sed777 (1), HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, USA does not count Feb 7, 2007 This beer was dissapointing to say the least. After puring it the nose smelled like a budweiser. flavor was not in a triple profile at all. Alcohol was masked well, color was excellent. But bleh, never again... SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Feb 3, 2007 At the 2007 Big Beer, Belgians, & Barleywines Festival in Vail. Pours thick hazy gold with a serious white head that does not last very long. Cotton candy aroma with light fruity flavors of banana and pineapple. Yeasty and medicinal palate. Very good domestic attempt at a tripel. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA Feb 3, 2007 750 ML Bottle via dickinsonbeer(i think) and a few other traders (thanks!) Pours a semi clear amber with a small white head. Nose is candy with some fruity notes-apricot, peach, bananna. Tastes just like it smells with some belgian yeastiness and a sweet and sour finish. Full bodied and moderate carbonation. Triples are one of my less favorite styles but this is a good one. Rballs01 (264), Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, USA Feb 2, 2007 I love this beer. Pours a pale gold. Nice carbonation and frothy head. Smells of Belgian yeast and banana spice. Flavor is subtle and spicy. A deliciously well-balanced triple from Maine. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA Feb 1, 2007 750ml bottle, batch #73. Looks great, smells great, on first few sips tastes great, but the alcohol comes through in a huge way a short while in. I know tripels have a higher percentage than most, but it really comes through on this one. To style, just a little hot. GandGKevin (183), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Feb 1, 2007 750 ml botle. Pours a murky yellow with a slight head. Citrusy aromas. Light mouth feel with citrus flavors.
