Pours a semi clear amber with a small white head. Nose is candy with some fruity notes-apricot, peach, bananna. Tastes just like it smells with some belgian yeastiness and a sweet and sour finish. Full bodied and moderate carbonation. Triples are one of my less favorite styles but this is a good one. Rballs01 (264), Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 2, 2007 I love this beer. Pours a pale gold. Nice carbonation and frothy head. Smells of Belgian yeast and banana spice. Flavor is subtle and spicy. A deliciously well-balanced triple from Maine. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA

Looks great, smells great, on first few sips tastes great, but the alcohol comes through in a huge way a short while in. I know tripels have a higher percentage than most, but it really comes through on this one. To style, just a little hot. GandGKevin (189), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 1, 2007 750 mL bottle. Pours gold with big white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is zest, clove, honey, banana, and a hint of pepper. The flavor is banana bread with lots of autumnal spices. Warm finish and aftertaste. I am very impressed with the smoothness and balance of this one. kmweaver (2436), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a medium golden appearance; white head with excellent lacing. Soft, yeast aroma; plenty of coriander, floral notes, and candy sugar. Medium carbonation; medium, chewy mouthfeel: candy sugar, yeast, and honey character. Medium, sweet finish; much sweeter than most tripels I’ve had. PSmith (35), Kennewick, Washington, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 26, 2007 This beer is soooo good. A bit of clove and honey as good as any Belgian that i have had in the past year. Well worth the money I paid. Just the beer to finish out a cold winter night. Though it is still early in the year, my new number one. Trooper11 (464), Suffolk, Virginia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jan 25, 2007 Batch #81. Pours a hazy yellow with a cream colored foamy head, lasting, slowly revealing nice lacing. Aroma is very fruity, apples and pear with subtle notes of clove and all-spice. Heavy body with strong spiced-honey flavor, very warming. Not overwhelming. Ahh, very refreshing on this cold winter night. Bit of a dry malty aftertaste.
