alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Dec 24, 2006 Aroma of yeast, banana, light citrus, honey and floral. Light yellow in color. Medium frothy white head. Alcohol fairly present at the beginning, mellows with time. Taste complex, similar to aroma. Carbonated, with a nice body. Good beer. TampaBeer (181), Tampa, Florida, USA Dec 22, 2006 Very nicely done belgian here. The focus is a delicious smooth sweetness and great drinkability. The alcohol is put into the background do to a well crafted beer. LennyH (60), Delaware, USA Dec 16, 2006 This is a terrific tripel that stands up to many of the great Belgian tripels. Aroma and flavor of banana, yeast, malt, citrus and spice with a nice hoppy, bitter finish. Nice foamy head that doesn’t disappear. Very well done. aenimopiate (142), The United States of Texas, Texas, USA Dec 15, 2006 A very fruity beer, light in color, but nothing else. The flavor is a very fruity mix, as is the aroma. I enjoyed this beer, and I think fans of the belgian ale will as well. billism (42), Missouri City, Texas, USA Dec 15, 2006 Pours light cloudy honey. Full white head. Smells of abbey ester goodness, but not a strong aroma. Fairly dry, malty fruity flavor. ogglethorp (882), Ohio, USA Dec 12, 2006 Bottle. Pours a cloudy straw color with a full off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is citrus, spice, yeast, pepper. Flavor is banana, clove, yeast, alcohol. Palate is medium bodied, spicy, dry, highly carbonated. This is the one that got me into craft beer. Krausen (102), USA Dec 5, 2006 This is one of the best beers I have had all year. Amazing citrus and spice in the nose and beautiful bubblegum and pear notes. This is dry, not cloying but sill full bodied. A real feat in brewing, this is a wonderful beer! RCL (1444), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Nov 28, 2006 This beer is super. The aroma is amazing, other than that, the commecial description is right on. Easily one of the best tripels in the US.
