Commercial Description:
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

Batch number 109. Cloudy, golden-orange pour with fluffy white head. Earthy, fruity aroma with spices, yeast, some clove and banana. Flavor is fruity and estery, with lots of clove and banana. Nots of honey, yeast, and spice, with some earthiness. Full mouthfeel with light carbonation, with a nice earthy finish. Pretty solid for a tripel.

Batch #131. Pours a cloudy amber color with a huge white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy - cloves, alcohol, and maybe a hint of cinnamon. Taste is more cloves, banana, spice, bread-like yeast, and some alcohol. Has a dull, earthy bitterness in the finish. Moderate carbonation, smooth mouth feel. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

From a 750 ml c&c bottle from BevMo in Sacramento this poured a orange to gold with a huge white head and great lacing. Nose of caramel malts and and ripe fruit. Nice creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is rich and well balanced with banana and clove showing. Nice clean dry finish. Excellent.

Bottle Batch 133 Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a big white head. The head lasts well and laces nicely. Has a nice aroma of bubble gum, sweet malts, spices, and a touch of hoppiness. Good carbination and a good mouthfeel. Flavor is good with a good balance and a nice blending. Has a medium body. A good solid finish and a nice aftertaste.

Bottle, with Alaskanwarren. Thanks Brian! Pale orange/gold, lots of dense off-white head. Fresh green spring smell; sweet peas, black pepper, bubblegum, clove, citrus oil. Dense herbal hop flavor, lots of hop flavor but modest bitterness. Mint, menthol, lingering citrus oil. Cool tropical morning. Unobtrusive but somehow just right malt backbone, with a teeny warming quality, but as soon as it registers it is gone, and then just a sense of lightness of being. Finishes dry and delicate. An unusually nice American Belgian.

Pours nice cloudy golden color with just shy of a half inch head. Lacing the glass extremely well. Medium bodied on this one. Malts, hops, sweet fruit on the palate. Excellent tripel., especially when you consider that it comes from America.

Light, fragile head; strong fruity aroma; finish was a raw medicine like alcohol that outlasted the flavor

Good classic tripel aroma. Maintains head. Dry and mild but with reasonably flavorfull esters. A bit overly harsh bitterness on the finish with some lingering off flavors.
