Commercial Description:
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

Bottle thanks Marsiblursi. Hazy deep golden with a large fluffy white head. Earthy malt aroma with clear notes of cauliflower, and some woody and yeasty notes as well. Medium bodied and smooth. Good balance, dry finish.

Tap @ Taco mac Mall of Georgia. Golden pour, white creamy head. Aroma of apriums (hybrid apricot/plum), honey, clove, pinapple, and some other tropical fruits. Flavor is quite spicey, smooth and perfect to this style. Bread, yeast flavors, followed by sweet ripe bananas. finishes with a pleasant hop bite tha is light enough to give a perfect balance. Where’s the alcohol. very smooth, very very enjoyable.

Batch # 30: Banana, spices, fruit and yest are coming right into my nose. Nice orange color, little frothy head leaving brussels lace on the glas. Peppery but ligth flavor, also yeast, apricots and honey. Smooth, silky warm finish. Our cat liked the aroma - catnip in this brew? Great brew.

Tonight was a good night. "Why," you ask? Because I discovered this beer and I discovered 2 hours of Kids in the Hall on Comedy Central. While the Allagash Tripel was all spiced cream and fruits (mostly bananas and peaches), Kids in the Hall is Funny. While Allagash is made in Maine, the Kids in the Hall are Canadian. Oakes is Canadian as well but while this beer's beautiful bright golden amber body sparkled with constant effervescence and the thick, creamy white head sheeted and even chunked the side of the glass, Oakes is not funny. At least not in the cross-dressing, irreverent, absurdist humor way that the Kids in the Hall were. Damn this is a fine beer, probably my favorite in the style.

750 mL bottle. Hazy golden yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma of citrus and spice with a hint of sourness. Bright and lively palate - the carbonation is really wonderful. Citrus, honey, and clove flavor with a crisp, sweet finish.
