Oct 3, 2003 Batch 32: Hazy blond body, white head. Very light aroma of banana and spice. Very carbonated, bubblegum flavor with lemon and other fruits. Excellent.

Nov 15, 2003 750 ml. caged & corked bottle. Batch # 39. No freshness date that I can see. Poured out a hazy, bright orange color, with a humongus head on it. The head slowly faded to a large yeasty island floating on top of the beer. Aromas were of tropical fruit, and a slight lemon aroma as well. I think this bottle has passed it's prime, but I'll drink it all the same. Tasted ok, malty as all hell, and the hops were somewhat subdued by the lemon taste. I never noticed any banana aromas, but maybe this bottle didn't have any.
Finished somewhat dry, had a thinnish body to it as well. Had a decent alcohol kick to it. Fairly good example of the style, I only wish I could have tried it a bit fresher.

Aroma: Smell is a mix of lots of different fruits
Appearance: Golden color, very thick, milky white head
Flavor: Mostly taste the fruitiness, with hints of the alcohol. Lots of complex fruit flavors that work well together.
Palate: Relatively full Body. Smooth, enjoyable aftertaste.
Overall Impression:
A very nice tripel, and a great representation of the style. Drinks well from start to finish.

Sep 20, 2009 Hazy yellow color with orange hints. White head that disappears quickly. Aroma of coriander, banana, vanilla, and yeast. Spicy flavor with banana, bread, and vanilla dominant. Very nice beer!

Nov 14, 2005 allagash is great - THeir beers have never dissappointed me and this holds true. Better than the dubbel and at 9% it’s real good .. .

Hazy rich golden color with a medium, but fading white head. Aroma is spicy and tropical fruit sweet. Flavor starts fruity sweet (peach/apricot) with spice followed by a light citrus bitterness and a lightly dry orangy finish. Medium bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Alcohol well hidden, but makes its presence known.

Jun 20, 2007 On tap at Capone’s. Cloudy amber/orange. Banana type yeast, with apricot and spices. Lite brown sugar sweetness. Citrusy finish. A bit warm. Very good.

Nov 28, 2008 Flaske. Flot orange øl, med et lille skumhoved, og klart mindre karbonering end belgiske trippels. Masser af frugt i duften. SMagen er mere humlet end ellers, med en fin bitterhed til at balancere sødmen. En nøddeagtig honningsmag kommer frem som øllen opvarmes. Alkoholen er komplet skjult kold, men kommer også frem med varmen og giver en god balance. Rigtig lækker øl.
