Commercial Description:
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

12 oz bottle-at beach in DE-haven’t seen in this size at State Line. Jumped on this one. Very drinkable, taste is supreme, deep, complex palate is an understatement. This is brewing at its finest-Can’t see why anyone wouldn’t like this--

Great beer. Pours a hazy amber with a head that lasts throughout the drinking time. Smells of honey and yeast, very nice. Extremely balanced and mellow taste, has a certain sweetness to it. Also has hints of spice and malt. Medium mouthfeel, just about right for a tripel. Very good beer, about the best American tripel I have had.

Batch #28...750ml bottle Using my Allagash tulip glass to drink this heavenly nectar, it pours a burnished gold that is perfectly clear from a careful pour. A frothy, off-white head starts out thick, then slowly shrinks down to small cap. It's easily brought back up again with a simple swirl. The lace looks a lot like soap suds overlooked on a car window in the middle of a hot, sticky summer. Wonderfully complex aroma with suggestions of spicy fruits, banana, grape, clove, phenolics, bready yeast, alcohol, and a musty earthy note. Despite this wide array of scents, the aroma comes across as sweet. Stunning... The flavor is sweet and spicy, with lots of fruitiness and honey on the forefront. After the initial rush of sweetness, the flavor shifts to a slighty phenolic one, along with a small burst of black pepper spiciness. The clove, yeast, and musty flavors are in there too, but play secondary roles and stay mostly in the background. The tail end has a rush of warming alcohol, which is highlighted by a touch of hops. Again, stunning… This brew is highly carbonated, but settles to a creamy, soft mouthfeel that is just a bit prickly on the tongue. The body is on the lighter side of medium. Alcohol dries out the finish considerably. An incredibly well-done domestic tripel!

.75 liter bottle Nice presentation, lovely aroma. Taste is reasonably yeasty, but there was too much bitterness this time. Dunno. Still a good beer.

very gold and surprisingly clear for a tripel. The yeast seemed to aggregate a bit more, actually a lot seemed to have dried out in the top of the neck. Very foamy head, soft mouthfeel. Fig, raisen sweetness upfront. The finish is long, surprisingly dry and nicely bitter
