Commercial Description:
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

From a bottle poured nice light amber flavor, with a lot of head. Flavorwas light and refreshing, with a good strong finish.

Batch 37 Slightly oxidized. The appearance was a large sized white head that consisted of fine-small sized bubbles. There was was carbonation observed with this beer along with a cloudy body. The hue was yellow and the nose consisted of malt, hops, fruit, and cloves. The flavor was sour, tart, and fruity. It had bubbly and smooth mouthfeel along with a medium body. There was virtually no lacing with this beer.

Foul aroma right from the get-go which only smells like lead, mite dust, and iron. In contrast to that however, the flavor is excellent; Fruity sweet with cream character. Viscosity and carbonation are near perfect. Perhaps the smoothest Tripel I’ve ever. An odd recommendation: Drink this one straight from the bottle for maximum enjoyment, do not pour; It’s better sans the disappointing aroma. You make look like a wino, but who cares? Honestly, its better right out of the bottle.

Bottle into chalice. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a creamy 1-finger off-white head that lasts practically forever. Aroma is fruity and sweet - ripe golden (passion) fruit, spicy yeast, honey. Taste is banana and ripe golden fruit, honey sweet malt, and a crisp, dry, slightly bitter yeast spiciness. Finish is dry and yeasty with a bit of alcohol, and a faint, balancing bitterness from the yeast and alcohol, and maybe a slight herbal hop undertone. Carbonation is crisp, with a creamy, medium body. Really a fantastic tripel.

Purchased from Belmont Station in an adorable 12oz. bottle--Poured a hazy golden-orange hue with a ginormous white head. Phenolic banana-clove nose with prickly spiced notes and some bold booziness. Crisp malt underpinning. Alcohol well masked. Funky yeasty wheaten complexity. Great example of the style. Yum!
