COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

This bomber pours a cloudy golden yellow/orange with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Taste is of sweet bread, vanilla, honey and a subtle malt, followed by undertones of fruit, especially citrus and banana. Started with pouring two-thirds of the botlle and finished with the last third to get the full effect of the yeast. This is a very impressive Tripel and one I would like to locate again

750 ml bottle (batch 177) purchased a year and a half ago at the Escondido BevMo ($9.49). Pours a cloudy golden straw hue with two fingers of very white foam with excellent retention and leaving great lacing. Aroma of honey, pear, apple, bready malts, caramel, and musty yeast. Flavor of more honey, caramel, yeasty bread, fruit (apple cider and slightly astringent banana peel). Nice level of sweetness here. Finish is not very dry (more juicy) for a tripel. There is a tinge of booze in the mouth, but the high alcohol is mostly well concealed. An enjoyable tripel. (1216, 792)

Bottle to glass. Hazy deep golden color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and yeast, with bread and honey notes. Flavor is also quite yeasty, mildly sour, and mildly bitter. Bitter and sour notes last into finish. Not too familiar with the belgian styles, but a pretty tasty beer.

Allagash Tripel Ale: Honestly, one of the Brest beers I've had in recent years. Period. Sweet aroma with a mild honey and clove aftertaste. 1/3" head when poured into pint glass (from bottle). Beautiful color and lacing. I would recommend this brew to even the most reluctant of beer drinkers. Simy delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 750 ml bottle. Hazy, bright yellow-gold et a large pale pastel yellow head and excellent lacing. Aroma of cloves, yeast, banana, tropical fruit, Belgian candi and light malt. Taste of cloves, banana, tropical fruit, yeast, spice, pepper and sweet light malt. Medium/light body and high/medium carbonization. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Impressed! I have had this beer in the bottle and I did not remember liking it as much. Belgian styles usually are better in the bottle. I think this may be a rare anomaly. Creamy mouth feel, just enough carbonation, decent head, thick but not gushing. Great balance of flavors. When you can’t tell the alcohol content of a beer until it hits you, you are either appreciative, or wishing you were not driving. Educate yourself before drinking and take appropriate measures, especially when encountering a specimen as sumptuous as this!

Citrus like aroma. Light on hops. Finishes very smooth. Hides the 10% very well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden yellow color. Nose of Belgian yeast. Tastes of yeast, and citrus. Lemon comes through nicely. Sweet malt balances things out. Can’t detect any alcohol.

Pours a very murky deep golden color with lots of head that dissipated quickly. The aroma is typical for the style and is sweet with notes of yeast and spice. Taste follows the nose with some fruity esters. Medium bodied with a somewhat dry finish.
