This golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.

This beer poured a slightly hazy yellow gold color and formed a huge foamy white head that left laticed lace as it slowly supsided. A medium amount of carbonation is present and maybe a few particles of sediment. An aroma of hops, malt, coriander and other spices with a touch of yeast. A taste of malt, coriander and grain/yeast. It has a medium body to it with a touch of the alcohol present.

Pours a slightly reddish amber, very clear, not terribly heady. Slightly spicy aroma of coriander, banana flavor, sweet candi sugar notes as well. Somewhat oily mouthfeel kind of puts me off. Good beer.

A part of a triple taste test and the winner! Got a bit of a candy and caramel flavor in the aroma. Taste is not too sweet and very drinkable. Very clear straw color with a nice poofy head. Light bodied.

Pours hazy blonde with a big white head. Nose is pleasant and fruity with just a touch of tempering hops and bread. Flavor is down the middle but rich with all of the sweet citrus and mild spice expected with a tripel. Nice and surprisingly dry finish. Good beer.

Really good Tripel. One of the best Iíve had to be quite honest. Big sweet and spicy aroma. Lots of clove, citrus and phenolic notes. Very easy to drink. Absolutely delicious and the alcohol is so well hidden, youíd never know itís 9%. Delicious beer, Cheers!

Pours hazy golden with thin white head. Nose is spicy. Aromas are fruits, bubble gum, spices (pepper, cloves), alcohol. Average carbonation, full body. Long alcoholic and spicy finish. Very nice American tripel! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle to a tulip glass. Pours an opaque golden with a thin white head. Smell is spices (mainly clove) with a good sweetness underneath. The taste is even more spice, with alcohol coming in at the end. The carbonation is light and the finish is long and warm. Wonderful beer.

After the Curieux, I figured the Trip would be almost identical; it isnít the same, but itís still a great beer. Itís a beautiful golden red. Itís a little more bitter than it is smooth, but it isnít hard to drink. Allagash rules.

Not a bad tripel, a bit too boozie for my taste seems complex but to me the alcohol is perhaps too strong

Pour hay-coloured gold with a small white head. Head retention is good. AROMA: crisp wheat/malt, passion fruit, bubblegum, banana, spices, honey, hay, herbs, earthy, yeast esters, alcohol, cooked vegetables, herbal hops, peppercorn and slight rice. TASTE: crisp wheat/malt, passion fruit, bubblegum, banana, spices, honey, hay, herbs, earthy, biscuit, boozy, molasses, cooked vegetables, hop spice, peppercorn and slight raisin. AFTER TASTE: crisp wheat, spices, banana and honey with a crisp smooth spiced finish.
