75cl bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a cloudy brownish-yellow with white one-finger head. Aroma is citrus and juniper predominately with notes of wheat, bread and yeast. Flavor is slightly bitter with hints of caramel and honey. Subtle sweetness here, but the finish is somewhat quick and bland. Not the best tripel we have experienced, but a worthy drinker.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Koskela (24) - Marysville, California, USA - MAY 20, 2012
As i pour this beer i notice its cloudy/hazy golden yellow color. I smell this brew and smell the yeast not so much the passion fruit or the herbal notes or honey as the label sugests. However the taste is not only smooth and sweet, i guess one can say a fruity taste with a medium body. A taste of alcohol on the mid/back of your tounge leaving an aftertaste of honey. Over all not a bad brew worth a buy and rebuy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BrotherJason (22) - Washington DC, USA - APR 29, 2012
Pours honey golden with a tower frothy head. Aroma suggests tropical fruits and honey, with a hint of grainns and yeast. The hop taste is a bit overstated for a tripel. Beneath that, a balance mix of light pilsner malts, soft tropical fruity esters, and a touch of light medicinal esters, like from clover honey fermentation, balance everything out nicely. Palate feel is pretty dry and heavily carbonated with a hoppy finish accompanied by some malty sweetness. A nice American take on a classic style.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Shakesbeere (194) - Oxford, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is of yeast, floral/herbal notes, and spice. Taste is initially yeasty with some veiled coriander, clove, and pepper followed by a crescendo of spice, which mellows out after a climax. The remainder of the beer brings out veiled notes of honey and toffee toward the finish, which is subtle and lasting. Very smooth and balanced. A great tripel.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pawola22 (2197) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 20, 2012
On tap at The Great Lost Bear in Portland, ME. Pours a clear, golden colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is slightly yeasty spiced up front with some tropical fruits, apple, and citrus making up a moderate fruitiness. A light caramel and toffee sweetness with some Belgian yeast banana esters. Flavor is similar. Belgian yeast with some nice esters giving off a light banana, clove, and coriander spice. A nice, slightly bready caramel and toffee maltiness with some tropical fruits, citrus, and apples in the middle before the yeast gets peppery towards the end and this finishes mostly dry with a light bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid tripel. Sweet and spicy with some pleasant yeast esters and a solid malt and fruit balance. Good beer.
