4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
one of the best beers ive ever had, the first taste reminded me of their white beer, spices and all, with a little more abv kick to it. cloudy golden color, good fluffy white head, this brewery really knows how to make delicious versions of belgian beers. if i put this next to chimay cinq cents, i would still have to chose this, excellent.

Still fairly new to Belgium style ales. While I can certainly appreciate them I'm just not "getting" them jut having fun trying.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly reddish amber, very clear, not terribly heady. Slightly spicy aroma of coriander, banana flavor, sweet candi sugar notes as well. Somewhat oily mouthfeel kind of puts me off. Good beer.

A part of a triple taste test and the winner! Got a bit of a candy and caramel flavor in the aroma. Taste is not too sweet and very drinkable. Very clear straw color with a nice poofy head. Light bodied.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy blonde with a big white head. Nose is pleasant and fruity with just a touch of tempering hops and bread. Flavor is down the middle but rich with all of the sweet citrus and mild spice expected with a tripel. Nice and surprisingly dry finish. Good beer.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Really good Tripel. One of the best I’ve had to be quite honest. Big sweet and spicy aroma. Lots of clove, citrus and phenolic notes. Very easy to drink. Absolutely delicious and the alcohol is so well hidden, you’d never know it’s 9%. Delicious beer, Cheers!

Pours hazy golden with thin white head. Nose is spicy. Aromas are fruits, bubble gum, spices (pepper, cloves), alcohol. Average carbonation, full body. Long alcoholic and spicy finish. Very nice American tripel!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
From a bottle to a tulip glass. Pours an opaque golden with a thin white head. Smell is spices (mainly clove) with a good sweetness underneath. The taste is even more spice, with alcohol coming in at the end. The carbonation is light and the finish is long and warm. Wonderful beer.

After the Curieux, I figured the Trip would be almost identical; it isn’t the same, but it’s still a great beer. It’s a beautiful golden red. It’s a little more bitter than it is smooth, but it isn’t hard to drink. Allagash rules.

Not a bad tripel, a bit too boozie for my taste seems complex but to me the alcohol is perhaps too strong
