4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
one of the best beers ive ever had, the first taste reminded me of their white beer, spices and all, with a little more abv kick to it. cloudy golden color, good fluffy white head, this brewery really knows how to make delicious versions of belgian beers. if i put this next to chimay cinq cents, i would still have to chose this, excellent.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
One of the better American-made tripels. Golden, lots of aroma, mostly tropical fruit. Belgian yeast offers some banana as well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The girl next door of beers. Always around, so you never notice how delicious it is. Pours a lovely gold with the appropriate amount of white head. Sweet, slightly boozy scent. Flavor is excellent earthy sweet mix with a touch of bitterness on the end. Medium body with sticky mouthfeel. Bottle - Ale Yeah! - Decatur, GA

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bottle acquired from the brewery. Pours hazy gold with rapidly dissipating white head, no lacing. Aroma of passion fruit and grain. Flavor profile fruit with a sweet finish. Excellent Tripel...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aromas of clove, some banana, and soft hints of pepper. Slightly hazy yellow-gold, effervescent, with a fully lasting rocky white head. Mostly dry, yeasty, with flavors of pineapple, peach, pear, and oranges, finishing with herbal and peppery spicy notes. Medium bodied with good carbonation that cleans up the subtle sweetness, finishes pretty abruptly leaving some earthy hops and spicy phenols on the palate.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had on tap at Alewife in Baltimore. Pours a straw color with some head. Fruity and some spice on the nose. Somewhat sweet. More Trojan is expect for the style. Creamy and medium bodied. Nice beer. A bit too sweet.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a foggy, platinum wheat color, with a finger and a half of lingering, white foam. Lacing dissipates quickly, but the foam keeps for quite a bit. The nose is potent of sweet honey, and oats (honey nut cheerios), with other notes of ripe, tropical fruits like mango, guava, and over-ripe banana. Mild spice coming through as well. The taste starts with a slight granny-smith apple, that carries as oat and honey notes start to bloom. There are slight notes of aforementioned tropical fruits, but more on the unripe/sour-ish side. The banana is muted a bit, as there is a bit of a spicy hop finish. Lingering hop with slight sweetness accompanies a lightly resiny mouthfeel. Overall mouthfeel is fairly full, and spritely.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden with a white foamy head. Fruity nose with banana and a spice, maybe clove. Big mouth feel, malty wheat pokes is head through for a second and then disappears into a boozy sweetness. Banana, apple, lemon, bread. Coats you mouth in sweetness(good sweetness) and finishes boozy and dry. Complex, I would recommend.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy straw color with two fingers of a pillowy white head. Aromas of passionfruit, grape, apple juice, bready yeast. On the tongue I get tropical sweetness, apple juice, yeast, light alcohol notes, creamy mouthfeel. Really great stuff. This is probably the best I’ve had from Allagash so far. I’d say this is also perhaps the second best Tripel I’ve had, second to just Westmalle. They are quite similar, but I think the alcohol is hidden better in the Westmalle and drinks a bit smoother, but great nonetheless.
