Light fruity nose, great almost silky appearance. Very sweet and refreshing. Just enough hops as to not be cloying. Very grapey and wine like.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amazing blend of wine grapes and beer without going into the ’barley wine’ territory. Amazingly playful on the palate.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle. 2011 vintage. Pours a mostly clear gold-orange with a finger of white head that laces the glass. Aroma of grapes, funk, earth, bready malts, herbs, and some mixed mellow spices. The flavor hits the same notes, with an emphasis on malts and fruits. Medium-bodied, with soft carbonation and a dry, malty mouthfeel. Nice strong Belgian ale. Very solid.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours golden amber with a thi white head. Aroma has light grape, vinous notes, earthy hops. Flavor follows suit...a bit of tart followed by earthy/bitter and boozy notes...an odd shellfish note. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is bitter/earthy with a faint tangy fruit note.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
10oz pour at Bangers and Lace. Bright golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is very sweet with loads of citrus hops and candi sugar in abundance. Flavor is quite sweet with an almost excessive amount of sugar - also oranges, citrusy hops, candy, and a strong Belgian trippel-ish taste. Nice, but not their best hoppy Belgian.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at 2sp..billed as pronounced notes of grapes with a hint of slightly tart yeast..reddish tint from the red grapes..more flavorful than Victoria..nice lacing all around..vinous aroma definitely picking up notes of the red grapes.slightly funky tart finish that is pleasantly sour..very tasty.can see how wine drinkers would like this a lot..

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: The body is slightly hazy with a dark amber hue, the head is tall with excellent retention, leaving thick messy lacing as it settles into a thick and creamy coating.
Aroma: Grape aromas are most prominent providing a slightly dry aroma with hints of tartness and some honey.
Taste: Sweet honey is prominent on the intro and runs through the beer, there’s hints of grape flavors throughout coming off semi-sweet and adding a mild fruitiness throughout.
Palate: Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: This is good, but very one-note. I am actually a bit sorry that I opened this solo as I’m not sure that I want to finish it all as it becomes a tad cloying.

September 2011. Bottle. Copper color with a white head. A bit on the sweeter side compared to Victoria, but a very well made beer.
