Pours a cloudy orange with aroma of grape, pears and cherries. The grapes are at the forefront on the taste with no alcohol burn. Very tasty.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of grapes, spicy yeast, light malts, hints of tartness, and light grains and doughiness. Flavor the same with a lot of grapes. Average texture. Cool but a little too wine-like for me.

Washington Commons, Brooklyn tap ($11): Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is wood, red wine, citrus, yeast, and some spice. I found that the woody taste was very unique to this beer. Furthermore, the grapes were really quite pronounced. Unlike other raters, I did not find this beer to be too sweet, but rather a nice balance. In fact, I drank it quite rapidly because I found it to be rather quaffable.

Metallic copper pour with little or no head. Syrup sweetness with wine topped off with hops. Not too hoppy though. Close to a Belgian style triple. Has a slight aftertaste but otherwise a notable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper pour with a white head and lots of white lacing. Subtle fruity esters in the nose. Nice taste with some hop character, slight bitterness and some grape skin astringency in the finish.

Bright golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is very sweet with loads of citrus hops and candi sugar in abundance. Flavor is quite sweet with an almost excessive amount of sugar - also oranges, citrusy hops, candy, and a strong Belgian trippel-ish taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DuffMan (6439) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle, shared with Davey, Sandra, and my lovely wife. Hazy honey gold body topped by a dense white crown that laces thickly. Aroma is sweet and yeasty, fruity esters dominating. Sweet pale malts, juicy fruit nectar quality that is vaguely grapey, seems more plummy to me but it doesn’t matter as it is a nice compliment to the estery yeast. A quaffable brew for its size. Very nice.
