750ml bottle. Glowing cloudy orange color. Mild and subdued dry, sweet aroma. Sweet yeasty mouthfeel, not unlike a top-notch Belgian Ale. The alcohol and sweetness are very well balanced with the mild tartness of the grapes. The end of the bottle really displays the most red-grape notes, with a real depth of character. An excellent World Class beer, albeit a tad pricey.

Dark gold like topaz or citrine. Semi-clear with a mid-sized blonde head. Barn house aromas. Lemongrass or lemon verbena. Fresh and lovely bouquet is fruity and like chardonnay with some sweet cheese too. Soft but strong effervescence. Alcohol frames the flavors and carries the body forward. Fruit juice-like including mild white grape juice, guava, granny smith apples with punchy finish. Strong, sturdy, complex, underrated, and delicious.

On tap at Allagash tasting at Stags head. Pours a golden orange. Nice fruity aroma and is tastes of bubble gum, yeast and you can get some of the red grapes, which I prefer to the white grapes used inthe Victoria. Its slighty tart and the carbonation provides nice fizzle. Fun beer.

Pours murky blonde with a small, fine white head. Nose is mostly sweet belgian malt and yeast with a touch of fruitiness. Flavor is a little spicy and bittersweet at first (the hop character is fairly low) and transitions to sweetness toward the finish. The grapes advertised in the brew come out on the backside but aren’t especially strong...just enough to notice. The carbonation doesn’t make for much head or bubbles but seems to have a good fizzle in the mouth. Good, well-balanced belgian strong, albiet expensive.

Somewhat hazy gold with a moderate, pillory off white head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, wine, alcohol and pale malt. Fruity an yeasty tasting. Sweet with a moderate alcohol bite. Full bodied with mild carbonation and a mild, wine-like finish. Quite good.

Pours orange-green with no head. Aroma is wheat, grass, earthy, Belgian yeast. Taste is sweet and spicy, Belgian yeast and a bitter hoppy finish. Clean but oily mouthfeel. From someone who doesn’t care for Belgian ales, this was excellent.

On tap at The Daily Pint. Pours cloudy golden orange with a bright white fluffy head that retained well and left wonderful lacing. Grassy/herbal hops aromas with a distinct grape presence. Grapes are more evident in the flavors, supporting a hops bitterness and soft caramel sweetness. Medium body, pillowy soft mouthfeel, lively carbonation, and a pleasant dark fruit sweetness in the finish.

Draft. Awesome beer. Pours a light gold with a strong, all-white head. Aroma holds fruity notes, bubble gum, phenols and a strong Belgian character. Flavor is quite sweet and bready, some yeast, with hints of grape and citrus. Mild bitterness and dryness on the finish. Medium in body and well carbonated. I loved it.

In bottle at Jerry’s. Orange-amber with good, foamy off-white head / Nose of grapes, bananas, and cream, / Medium body, with wine-like creaminess from the grapes, and a touch of bitterness on the good finish / Flavors of white grapes, banana, lemon, wood, resin, and coriander / Have to consider these as a cross between a beer and a wine.
