skortila (2394), Bunnik, Netherlands Sep 9, 2007 3rd LCRBM. Aroma has grapes and yeast. Hazy, yellow coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet with some bitterness in the finish. It has yeast and grapes. Okay.
Palidor19 (1279), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2008 Fantastic, its super strong with high malts and rich fruity flavors. its highly carbonated with low on the hos yet everything else works great. nick76 (2031), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 28, 2008 The aroma is kind of weak for a strong ale but there is definitely a fruity grapeness with yeast and malt. The appearance is cloudy with gold color and a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall this is really good. Floback (249), N-town, Florida, USA Aug 12, 2008 Pint bottle from Knightly Spirits. Pours a golden color and a nice fingernail of white head. The aroma is reminiscent of a saison with wheat and sour yeast notes. Flavors are grainy, dark fruits, mild yeast, slightly metallic with tangy, vinous fruits in the finish. I find I enjoy the taste more as it adjusts to room temperature. Medium body and medium carbonation. Not bad, could be a great session Belgian Strong if it wasn’t so expensive. pnista (888), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Aug 11, 2008 Thanks for sharing Yaniv! Pale orange yellow with a ring of white head. Sweet appley grapey light malt. Not a ton of depth. No alcohol to speak of. Creamy full body. Higher carbonation. Big sweet creamy body with some champagne-like aspects. A bit of spice. Some smaller acidity, fruity finish. General_Gao (2509), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 28, 2008 750ml bottle. Pleasant aroma of clove, lime, champaign, vanilla, and subdued nutmeg. Poured a hazy light orange color. The head was bubbly, white, and retained its height well. Not much lace was left behind. Medium bodied and a little chalky with some delicate sweetness up front and a dry finish. Spices dominated the flavor, particularly clove, but there was also a distinct champaign note, citrus, and a hint of pineapple. Delicious.
