SamGamgee (1395), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA Jan 25, 2009 Draught at The Big Hunt, Hazy yellow with a medium, frothy head. Lightly wheaty, yeasty, and spicy aroma with some lemon. Crisp and dry flavor with wheat, yeast, citrus, light spice and low bitterness. light bodied with just-lively-enough carbonation. Great session beer in the Belgian mold. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Jan 25, 2009 Deep, hazy gold, thick, white foamy head. Aroma is wheat, hay, grass, washy. Some banana, peach, and cloves. In the background. Softer, less warm than most Belgian styles. Lacing and legs are intense and sticky.

Light, sweet aroma. Well hopped, sweet, and spicy. This is a solidly flavored Yankee wit, which is a style that I like. mnovacanes (48), Munster, Indiana, USA Jan 21, 2009 Appearance: very cloudy, as it should be; white head; questionable head retention
Aroma: Strong honey and vanilla, spicy wheat, strong coriander, maybe too strong; overall good balance; citrus orange; nice complexity
Flavor: Overall, great flavor profile; probably the only flaw is a little too much spice power; other than that, great complexity and blend of proper flavors described above
Palate: nice, creamy texture; a little on the thick side after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Jan 18, 2009 Draft at Uber. Cloudy light amber with very little white head and modest sheets of lace. Mild, lemony, grassy nose. Creamy medium body, subdued carb. Tangy lemon, grass, hay. Maybe a bit of green apple Mild finish. nathan30533 (138), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA Jan 14, 2009 To explain this one. Pours a white/yellow color with unfiltered sweetness floating in the brew. White head. Smell and taste the spice. Very crisp yet very relaxing. Good taste, great smell, wonderful feel. Great White. osu97gp (168), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jan 10, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with chunks and a white head. Aroma is wheat with some slight biscuits. Taste is very tea-like and not very bitter. Very easy to drink, decent. brewski519 (395), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA Jan 10, 2009 On tap at City Beverage in Durham NC this beer was a hazy white almost orangish with lots of floaters - as a matter of fact it was so think and almost orange that with the light in the bar several of my party thought I ordered an oraange juice. The aroma was of wheat, spice, and some citrus. Taste was very wheaty along with spice, yeast, cinnamon and a little aftertaste of banana. A decent beer for the style.
