Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Draft at Uber. Cloudy light amber with very little white head and modest sheets of lace. Mild, lemony, grassy nose. Creamy medium body, subdued carb. Tangy lemon, grass, hay. Maybe a bit of green apple Mild finish.

To explain this one. Pours a white/yellow color with unfiltered sweetness floating in the brew. White head. Smell and taste the spice. Very crisp yet very relaxing. Good taste, great smell, wonderful feel. Great White.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with chunks and a white head. Aroma is wheat with some slight biscuits. Taste is very tea-like and not very bitter. Very easy to drink, decent.

On tap at City Beverage in Durham NC this beer was a hazy white almost orangish with lots of floaters - as a matter of fact it was so think and almost orange that with the light in the bar several of my party thought I ordered an oraange juice. The aroma was of wheat, spice, and some citrus. Taste was very wheaty along with spice, yeast, cinnamon and a little aftertaste of banana. A decent beer for the style.

Pours a hazy gold with chunky sediment and a full white head. Aroma of honey and bubblegum, but somewhat understated. Flavor is amazing. Yeast, bubblegum, coriander, lemon zest, all very well harmonized. Lingering citrus bitterness. Juicy, sparkling mouthfeel, medium bodied and very drinkable.

Cloudy yellow, like urine with a bladder infection. Aroma of bubblegum, taste of grapefruit and soggy bread. Fascinating.

I had this right after the Maudite at the Hop Leaf in Chicago. Nice beer overall. Not that much head and left me desiring a little more flavor. Beautiful color and very clear.
