Picked up a 4 pack of Allagash White 12oz bottles. Belgian style bottle conditioned white beer. Poured into River Horse pint glass. Followed instructions on bottle.
Cloudy straw colored with small white head and great lacing. Aroma of wheat and orange. Tasty citrus and spice blend. Exceptionally drinkable. Definitely ranks up in the top 5 white beers I’ve had.

Cloudy yellow with a strong, creamy cream-white head and very nice lacing. Lemon and spice were strong on the nose, touches of orange as well. Wheat flavor up front, cut by the spiciness, yeast and hops coming through as well. Very smooth, creamy mouthfeel, medium body and carbonation and a very nice crisp citrusy finish.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 CampesinoTino (456) - Lake Stevens, Washington, USA - SEP 30, 2010
Bottle. Cloudy lemon yellow in appearance with a half inch of thick white head. The aroma is doughy yeast, cloves and lemon rind. The taste starts with cloves and bready malt followed by honey, banana and cardamom. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy with medium carbonation and a smooth, citrusy finish. The overall flavor has a good balance of yeast, spice and fruit flavors. Fans of Saisons and German Hefeweizens should definitely give this one a try.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Duhast500 (362) - Exile In Medford, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 30, 2010
Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass.
The color is a cloudy orange-yellow with a soft, light foamy head.
The smell is very pleasing to the nose it is full of citrus wheat flavor. A big of a sugary zest flavor that is quite sweet.
The taste has a nice citrus, like grapefruit flavor that mixes well with the light wheat flavor. It also has a slight bitterness that is just enough to keep this beer from being too sweet.
This is a great crisp, light, refreshing beer. Is easy drinking and only lightly carbonated.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 wedgie9 (1366) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 27, 2010
Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a huge foamy white head that quickly recedes to light lace. Nose is wheat with good yeastiness; some banana and spices along with a white bread aroma. The flavor is very light with wheat, very light banana, and just a hint of spiciness and a bit of bitterness as well. The body is light with lively carbonation and a short bitter finish.
