fata2683 (827), Panama City, Florida, USA Sep 14, 2008 On tap at the North Star bar, Philadelphia. Pours a cloudy gold into the glass. Smells of bannana and corriander. Very creamy and refreshing with a fresh hop backbone. Solid white beer. mistersinalin (367), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Sep 13, 2008 this beer had a really dirty after taste that sort of ruined it. I don’t think it was terrible, but there are so many better wits, especially for the price. daknole (2780), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 12, 2008 Bottle, shared last night. Somewhat hazy gold pour with a big white head. Yeast, bread, spices and sweet malts hit the nose. Flavor is very yeasty and bready. Pretty creamy mouthfeel. Well done style by Allagash. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA Sep 10, 2008 Bottle: Pours a straw cloudy with minimal white head. Aroma is faint. Flavor is strong spice with citrus. Enjoyed very much. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Sep 8, 2008 Tap Capital Ale House downtown 08/26/2008. Lemmon, coriander, and spice aroma. Light yellow straw cloudy with small white head. Big Belgian yeast character with a moderate amount of graininess. Orange lemon zest. Light body with dry zesty finish. Miver (547), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 8, 2008 750ml bottle. Poured a hazy gold in color with a medium sized white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemongrass, cloves, citrus and bready. Tastes of wheat, fruity esters, bread, lemongrass, citrus, and some spices. I had a keg of this a few years a go and it was very enjoyable summer, session beer. Its still good but not the way I remembered it from back then. Gypsy19 (599), California, USA Sep 6, 2008 I’m not too impressed with this one at all. Maybe it’s just the style that I don’t care for. While not unpleasant, this White is quite boring with no real character to speak of. Flavor is what you’d expect; Wheat, lemon, and a little pepper. I will finish it easily, but will not be buying again. Will have again only if offered for free. coldbrewky (712), Saugerties, New York, USA Sep 4, 2008 Bomber from the rip and run. soft nose of lemons arise from this hazy yellow pour. A dense white fluffy head sits proudly upon the pillar of yellow haze. Body is loght and crisp with corriander and cloves. Citrus sueeze is a skash more intense than the spice that leads to a nice balanced sour finish.
