Pours up a nice cloudy white, and I mean cloudy. There are little trails in it. The head is nice and foamy. There’s not too much aroma. The flavor is very subtle. It’s almost nonexistent. How can you not like this beer, though? I guess if you like really complex beers, because his one is not. Fortunately I do not like really complex beers. So hooray for Allagash. This is one of the first beers I had on tap that wasn’t Miller lite or some other crap. It has a special place in my liver.

Hazy pale straw color; Light to medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, citrus, & coriander; Flavor of wheat, malt, yeast, citrus (notably lemon & orange), coriander, and spice; Nicely balanced; Overall, quite spicy - and very good.

(draught at Meddlesome Moth) opaque very bright yellow, lasting creamy head that is oily and coats the glass quite nicely. Great looking beer. Nose of coriander, fresh ground pepper, grass, and lemon. Taste of huge coriander, ground white pepper, wheat, and subtle lemon zest. Creamy light body that is oily and pretty refreshing. A coriander bomb but aside fro
that quite drinkable!

pours typical white in appearance. Sweet and "coriander" flavored with the right amount of hops. Clearly one of the best in its category for a reason. Clean finish and the right amount of weight for the style.

A-pours a hazy yellow liquid with a tight creamy head.
S-the nose starts with earthy notes and grain. lemon, banana, corriander fade in at the back.
T-the taste follows the nose with a little more peppery spice. good grainy tastes up front with earthy notes as well. the lemon and banana come in next with the peppery spice, clove, and corriander coming in at the back.
M-very smooth and creamy on the palate, medium syrupy body with a fair amount of carbonation but a little lacking for the full syrupy texture of the beer.
D-this is very refreshing and has a solid feel. earthy and grainy with a good balance of banana and spice. very solid wheat beer.
4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 rcubed (35) - Vista, California, USA - MAY 22, 2010
Pleasant aroma with biscuit and yeast going with little spice. Pouring into a large wine glass left little of the white head (probably a bad poor on my part). Taste is perfect for me in a white ale. The spice note are very subdued and blend well with biscuity malt and wheat character of it. I’m not a fan of zealous use of coriander so this beer really pleases the palate. It has a nice lingering aftertaste to it as well.
Definitely the best white/wit ale I have tried.

Flavors are very refreshing with wheat, herbal spice, a touch of orange. Mouth is lighter bodies with a drying finish.
