COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

12oz bottle. Light hazy straw with a small head. On the citrus-end of the white beer spectrum. Slightly nutty and a little doughy as well. Clean...lightly sweet (a little too much for my tastes), perhaps a little sour and just a touch of clean bitterness on the finish. A good beer, but nothing standout in my opinion -- especially at the price.

12 oz bottle Wegmans. Almost a clear yellow with sediments floating about. Aromas of lemon, slight caramel, slight banana, slightly skunky(may have a bad bottle), spiced ginger. Flavors of light ginger, yeasts, slightly grassy, light lemon. The flavors are all light but well balanced out. Slightly sweet, lightly crisp, balanced, slightly dry, refreshing. For a light belgian, this beer gives a great balance and solid pitch to hit the spot for sessions. Unfortunately its expensive (overpriced), at least where I can buy it.

Very light malt aroma with hints of sulfur. Appears a radiant yellow with nich thick haze and a thick white crown of foam. Taste is interestingly tart, sour, acidic. Didn’t not notice any strong citrus notes. Can taste breadiness of the wheat. Very prickly and spritzy mouthfeel with a long warm, malty finish.

Cloudy yellow-orange with virtually no head. Citrus flavor, slight hops, and floral notes. Like all Allagash I have tried, a very smooth, balanced beer. This is an excellent beer for a hot Summer day. tasted @ 56.5°F.

Pours a bright, yet very hazy lemon yellow with thick frothy, egg white like head. Aroma is coriander, citrus and pepper. Flavor is citrus and coriander and a spicy finish. Body is creamy yet light with a lot of effervescence.

This was an amazing wit. Very flavorful and drinkable. The citrus really came through on this one with some nice spices. Very well balanced flavors. The subtleties are very delicate with this beer, and I could drink this all day.

On tap at Armsby Abbey. Very cloudy white with a white head served in an Allagash glass. One of the better white beers I have tasted. Good blend citrus and spice and very refreshing.

12 oz bottle pour. nice murky gold color with a medium frothy pure white head with some light lacing. aroma is heavy on the wheat with some lemon peel and a fair amount of peppery spice. good full creamy mouthfeel with a good bit of fizziness. flavor is mellow wheat with some citrus notes and great pepper spiciness. lemon peel and biscuit flavors come through. nice and refreshing on a warm spring day. not a big fan of wheats but this is one of the best i’ve had.
