biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Jun 7, 2008 Outstanding witbier. I’ve had this one multiple times, just getting around to rating it now after having it the other night at the Flying Saucer in Raleigh. Highly recommended. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Jun 5, 2008 750 ml bottle (batch 37) - I probably should have drank this beer last year. Oh well. Pours a hazy light golden color with a one finger thick head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is light esters (banana). Flavor is esters, a hint of yeast, and light malt sweetness. Palate is fairly smooth, but a tad watery. A pretty good beer. I really wish I would have popped the cork sooner. robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jun 5, 2008 I really loved this beer, easily my favorite belgian Wit. Great aroma of citrus, and yeast, with some nice banaesque esters. The mouthfeel is almost buttery with a slight caramel flavour that goe sso well with the citrus, and yeast flavours. Wow, just a lovely balance. FatTony (121), Augusta, Georgia, USA Jun 5, 2008 12 ounce bottle- pours out a rich hazy gold, cloudy with a fair white head that left lacing to the dregs. Aroma was all citrus and yeast, as expected. Taste was a treat, light and shot through with citrus, very refreshing. A good "hot day" beer. texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA Jun 3, 2008 The beer pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Let me just say that this beer is all about the lemons; lemons on the nose, on the taste and on the finish. But moreover there are hints of sweet malts on the nose and a touch of grass on the taste the finish is lightly acidic and is short lived. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jun 2, 2008 Pretty nice. Off-clear yellow pour with large frothy head. Aroma of malt and some spices. Taste is of wheat malt with allspice, coriander. Sleeper (76), Washington, USA May 29, 2008 Bottles, corked and caged. This is a suprising beer. It’s very light in color and cloudy. The scent is spicy. The taste begins very uneventful but swells into spices that really make a pleasant beer. Maverick34 (686), New York, USA May 24, 2008 Bottled. A pretty decent witte, poured a cloudy yellow with a citrusy nose. Finish is a bit spicy and clean.
