| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2008 The beer pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Let me just say that this beer is all about the lemons; lemons on the nose, on the taste and on the finish. But moreover there are hints of sweet malts on the nose and a touch of grass on the taste the finish is lightly acidic and is short lived. Acknud (772), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

The scent is spicy. The taste begins very uneventful but swells into spices that really make a pleasant beer. Maverick34 (695), New York, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2008 Looks like a standard hefeweizen. Served at Draught House in Austin with a lemon wedge. Smells of lemon... or is that the lemon impaled on the edge of my glass? Semi-cloudy. Taste is also lemony. Thin body - easy to drink on Summer days. Sweet, lifting aftertaste. Grapefruit, maybe? The citrus is strong with this one. JamesD (194), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2008 I really enjoyed this beer. The scent has a wonderful citrus and coriander nature. The beer itself is very aesthetically pleasing, with a pale yellow cloud in your glass. In terms of flavor, it is very refreshing and easily drinkable, yet still with an assertive spiciness. The easiest spices to notice are hints of citrus and perhaps some coriander.
This is a great beer worth at least one try by fans of Belgian pales. bleeng (594), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

Nice cloudy, off white color with lots of tasty yeast and wheat floating about. Nose of lemon, tartness, and spices. Very carbonated, fluffy body, very tart and bitter. Light body and a bit alcoholic. One of the better wit beers on the market and what Hoogaarden should aspire to. 3/7//09. Also on tap at the Flying Saucer-even better on tap. Nice beer. kyzr (1122), Belgrade, Montana, USA
