Perfect for what it is. If you'd like a wheat beer, and you like a bit of citrus, this exceeds expectations.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
My favorite witbier so far. Lots of soft fruit in the aroma, and similar taste, with a soft but light palate feel.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2015 One of my favorites of the style. Nose is coriander, some fruity (peach, banana) esters. Taste has nice spicy character (clove, white pepper), bread, yeast. Balanced and dry finish. Lovely, light, refreshing but not at all boring.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not my favorite style by a long shot. Grain, citrus, banana, clove. I guess this is OK for the style but I don’t really like wheat beers.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured into a glass at WFB event at Russian River.
Aroma has a nice coriander note with some good citrus character. Nice, light wheat notes with some light pear and stone fruit esters.
Pours a hazy, bright yellow gold with a small white head with good retention and nice lacing.
Flavor has a hint of sweetness with a nice wheat note to it and some white bread. Medium coriander and some lighter citrus notes. Some good pear and stone fruit esters. Medium light bitterness and a medium light mineral quality.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation and a bit of a soft character. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice witbier with good coriander and citrus notes. Nice water character and yeast esters.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Hannaford Exeter NH. Aroma is strong pepper with citrus fruits and yeasty combination. Appearance is murky greenish yellow with good sparkle at the edges and two-finger width fluffy white head with good retention and foamy lacing. Taste is mild sweetness with pepper balanced with mild bitter. Palate is creamy medium bodied with brief lively carbonation at back of lips and tip of tongue before fading. Finish is wet and pretty long with light sweetness. Overall, this is a good beer that has some interesting spiciness to it. It isn’t quite the powerhouse I was expecting based on its rating.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful golden straw color that poured very clear and then I dropped the yeast which clouded it up but still stunning. Aromas of lemon peel, Rosemary, and hay with the classic clove yeast. Taste is very refreshing with crisp character that is spicy up front with pepper notes and finishes with bubblegum and then allspice at the very end. A fantastic beer and a benchmark for the style.

Exactly correct for the style. Clove flavor. Slight citrus. Wheat bite. If you like the style you’ll like the beer.
