trayns (237), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA Sep 10, 2009 On tap at Red Coat in Royal Oak, MI. Pours a nice cloudy yellow golden color and a bubbly white head. There is a large aroma to this beer, big yeast and fruity notes and banana and clove and citrus. The flavor is smooth and complex. There is definite citrus flavors to the yeasty bitterness and banana/clove flavor. The palate was bigger than expected and complex throughout. Very enjoyable. arrogantb (694), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 31, 2009 This bottle was only six dollars and I felt like that is a good deal on a 750 of Belgian style ale. This is a really light yellow and almost white in my snifter with a puffy white head. The smell is spicy and not unlike most witbiers. The taste is very good, easy to drink, nice citrus flavors and some subtle spicy, peppery taste. This is one of the better wits I have had, I really like how subtle the flavor is and how easy to drink it is. There is some phenolic flavor but it does not detract from the beer.

Aroma is is full of yeast and malts with some spices in the background (I believe I can pick up some cloves). Good body on this brew. Taste is full of yeast and citrus. Has a little bit of lemon peels in the back end. Aftertaste has a little bit of a bite. I’m not a fan of this style, but this beer is amazing! Jayb0 (750), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA Aug 25, 2009 A superb aperetif beer, bright, fresh, with fruit and light spice complexity. not thin like many in this category. hrking (108), Muncie, Indiana, USA Aug 24, 2009 Had this several times over the weekend while in Maine. Great session beer. Nice lemon citrus flavor without being in your face. Great drinkable beer and if your looking for a go with anything pint this is your beer. Nice yeast compliment with this grain bill for sure! Good job..Great beer. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Aug 23, 2009 Draft pours a hazy light mustard color. Light lemon citrus a faint peppery nose. Bitter lemon rind comes out in the flavor a Very solid wit but just a little to much lemon for my taste. drowland (1337), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 22, 2009 This was slightly under a bit in spices, but extremely refreshing, drinkable, and delicious. One of my favorite whites. syton98 (40), USA Aug 21, 2009 First let me say a witbier is not my best beer but this one was not all that bad. Pours hazy yellow and the aroma is strong but on the sharp side.Flavor has some citrus but is over powered by yeast and grain. It has an average palet.
