COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Tried some of this on draft. Pretty good as far as Belgian wheat beers go. A bit more sour/tart than I would like but still good. Pours a pale yellow with a fine white head. Spicy, fruity aroma. Flavor is somewhat yeasty, with notes of pepper and citrus fruits. Light bodied and crisp on the finish.

Bottled and available all over town. Light bodied, very drinkable. Belgian style wit beer. Little bit of banana.

Draught at Walters Foods. Strikingly dry and a little bracing, I like the hips in this. Nice body of wheat malt.

Pours pale golden yellow with a nice white head. The aroma is wheaty, lemony and spicy. The flavor is excellent. Complex spice character with citrus notes in there, but the interesting thing was the unique cream of wheat flavor followed by a dry finish. one of my favorite belgian wits.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours light golden with a foamy, white head. Aroma of hops, earth, wheat, citurs, hay, and hints os soil. Medium to light bodied with a crisp, tight mouthfeel. Quick, tight finish. Good witbier.

Pours a very cloudy yellow with a medium head and good lace. The aroma is bready and yeasty. The flavor is very dry for the style with plenty of spiciness and some breadiness, this certainly gets bonus points for dryness and originality.

Very similar to Franziskaner! Head vanishes quickly but the flavor is crisp and the carbo stays. Nice fruity scents and taste on back palate. Beer is smooth and goes down easy.

Honey notes, some spice, citrus, the ubiquitous banana / clove, yet still a little bland. Had this after a couple bigger beers and I think I would have liked it a little better with a clean palate. That said, I’ve had far worse wits.
