Pours an opaque pale sunshine yellow. Little head. Nice prickly carbonation. Flavor is a very soft, smooth quaffable cool wheat water. Winter wheat oils, lively yeast and accenting spice notes. Even on the palate. A light, older hop floral figure in the back. Heavily drinkable and paired nicely with smoked salmon bruschetta. A good rendition. brentfeesh (1036), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Hazy onion skin yellow with minimal head. Banana and spice are prominent in the aroma. Clove and coriander seem to be the dominant spice. A fairly “thick” smelling brew. Spicy, yeasty flavor with hints of sweetness are what you will get on tasting this one. Sweetness provided via banana and clove. Fairly wet mouth feel and crisp body. Not a huge fan but this is drinkable. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA

Very refreshing light bodied beer with a bit of spice. Not very complex but still works. Overall a decent beer. timfoolery (484), California, USA

I’m not a huge fan of Witbiers, but this one was an improvement compared to ones I’ve had. Very limited carbination, although it has sizable head. The flavor was odd, and I couldn’t place it, largely because I had about 2 oz. to taste. It was ok. Outchillen (29), Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Flanagan’s Liquors in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light multi-grain malt, some citrus zest, light herbal spice, and a touch of banana esters. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a more wit flavor than its aroma. More banana, yeast and clove flavors come out in the taste. Finish is semi-sweet, a little watery with a dry banana and yeast aftertaste flavor.
