COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Draft at Internation Beer Garten (Lutz, FL). Pours a cloudy lemon yellow color with a small white head. Nice, light aroma of citrus, spices, and yeast. Good, clean flavor with a slight tartness in the aftertaste. A decent witbier.

nose is ultra clean, perhaps a splash of sea water. flavor is lemon and light yeast. gritty but passes clean quite quickly. clean...refreshing...thirst quenching...but almost devoid of subtleties.

This was a very poor effort. I drank this from the tap. It was a pale cloudy gold with no head. It has no smell at all!!!!!!!! taste was decent, basically a poor man’s blue moon. A very poor effort.

Maybe I just encountered a bad pour, but this was pretty watery and weak compared to other widely available witbiers (Hoegaarden or St. Bernardus Blanche, for instance). I wouldn’t try this one again.

Very nice beer here. Very user friendly to both geek and newb alike. Something for everyone with this one. The aroma is light citrus, clove, banana and wet grains. Flavor is yeasty, citrusy, lightly herbal and spicy with a strong apple undercurrent. Body is a cloudy, light yellow/golden color with a very nice thick white head.

The pour was a slightly cloudy golden color with a short, white head. Spotty lace. The aroma was Belgian yeast, spice and light citrus. The flavor was wheat, yeast, spice and some citrus. The mouthfeel was thin to medium and clean. Enjoyable. Easy drinking.

1 liter corked bottle, says "batch #70" on the label. I enjoy the style and found this to be one of the best examples.

Bottle. Pours a light golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is light with perfume notes as well as some spices. Flavor is sweet, apple notes and some underlying spices. Pleasant.
