Pours cloudy pale yellow with thin white head. Aroma is of sweet wheat. Refreshing. A good wheat beer with a mildly bitter taste. moderate carbonation. I look forward to trying other allagash beers!

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2009 Smells very wheaty. Has a beautiful clear white straw yellow color. It has a spicy flavor, and then ends with a distinct bitterness. I’ve enjoyed this delicious clear smooth white ale for years.

On draft at Teresa’s. Poured cloudy gold with egg white head. Lemon, orange, and coriander flavor. Easy drinking. Very enjoyable.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2012 Classique Belgian white aux saveurs de citrus et de coriandre. Elle est très douce et légèrement piquante. N’est pas meilleure que la Hoegarden. 14-01-11: Blonde-Blanche, trouble avec peu de mousse et une légère effervescence. Aromes frais de critons, de coriandre et d’épices. Ne change pas la cote, mais meilleure que la hoegarden, avec plus de complexité et de saveurs.

Snowy, hazy, wheaty. A film of bubbly constellation-like head.
Yeasty bread and lemons with sweet gooseberries on the nose.
So crisp and light. Plus cereals = RICE CRISPIES. Melon and sweetgrapes meet lemon, biscuits and waffle cone.
Tingly and light, very refreshing.
A very pleasing white. Expertly put together.

decent white pours cloudy golden with a white head that fades. tastes of orange, corriander, and clove. not a big white fan but this is decent

750ml caged and corked bottle (Batch #50) and served in a tulip. Lightly hazy pale golden pour with a big, chunky head of off-white foam that slowly settled. Very good lacing. The aroma had bright lemon, oranges, coriander, and also some mild funk. The flavor had lemon zest, honey, coriander, and some spicy yeast. Very round, soft mouthfeel from the wheat. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. I woudl have prefered it to be a little more crisp. I have had this on tap also, but this bottle-conditioned 750 was much better. Pretty nice for a wit.
