Commercial Description:
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

12oz - Cloudy hazy pale orange pour, shortlived fizzy head, orange peel and spices on first taste, good tribute to the real Belgian whites.

Pours to 3" creamy head. Pale amber yellow, translucent. Aroma of clove, fruit and flowers. Taste of clove followed by slight bitterness. Light and refreshing. In mouth, foaming carbonation; palate cleaning. Very nice all the way around.

The beer smelled of wheat citrus and yeast. The taste was cream med to full body beer with wheat citrus, and a bit yeasty. The finish was quick. Not a bad beer has more flavor than hoegaarden but that is it.

Batch #35.: .750ml bottle. Hazy golden yellow, creamy white head. Aroma of spice, bread, yeast and lemon zest. Flavor is of wheat, yeast, spice and (strangely) perfectly cooked seascallops. Very light bodied. Very refreshing. Perfect for this style (Better than Hoegaarden).

Draught at Pub in Ida Noyes. Hazy yellow with thick white head. Looks like lemon meringue pie. Aroma is lemony, wheat and spice. Taste is citrusy (not artificial tasting) wheat beer, some spice (coriander and clove). Mouthfeel is a bit thin and the beer just needs a little something more at the end. However, a very good example of one of my least favorite styles.

Hoegaarden glass. Hazy straw color with small head. Aroma of lemon/citrus wheat and spice. Taste is similar. Spicy and sour finish.

very nice white beer, pours cloudy and light yellow with a decent head, good yeasty aroma with a hint of spice, flavor is standard wheat beer with spicy notes, very mellow hop notes makes this beer a nice summer refresher
