Goblincat (356), Westland, Michigan, USA Oct 10, 2007 Pours a cloudy yellowish-white. The aroma is a blend of wheat, yeast, citrus, and coriander. The taste is somewhat dry, with bits of spice, orange, lemon, and wheat. Overall a nice blend and pretty refreshing. mansquito (819), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Oct 7, 2007 Pours frothy white head with lacing. Cloudy yellow colour it has. The aoma was rather citrusy, without as much banana as other witbiers have. Taste also is really fruity. Lemon or grapefruit is the most prominent. Banana takes back seat here again as well. Good level of carbonation. Also it is slightly sweet. gearbike (413), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Oct 6, 2007 Great rendition of a style I normaly do not like. Great session type beer. All the typical spicy lemon flavors give it a nice crisp finish. hiddenvariable (194), pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 29, 2007 from bottle. pours a hazy yellow brown with a thin white head that fades to a film at the edges, and leaves a very slight lacing. smell is fairly strong bananas and cloves, and spices mixing with orange notes for a beneficial effect. tastes of wheat with the spice taking over the bananas and cloves, which are still there, but not as noticeably. the orange comes out a bit more in the taste. finishes dry with a hint of both bitter and sweet, with the moderate (but tiny) carbonation creating an almost creamy mouthfeel. emerica56 (575), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Sep 29, 2007 This beer has a cloudy orange color with a golden head that fades rather quickly. it has a tangy smell of lemon grass and strong citrus. As you drink it there is a lot of clove and hops on the tounge. the clove kind of coats the back of your mouth as well as some hints of lemon and orange peel. jwdevalue (158), Neptune, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2007 This is part of a beer club tasting. Only had one bottle but it was a decent taste for the price. Would like to try again after it poured great and left a nice after taste. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA Sep 24, 2007 Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus, lemon, banana, wheat, and some yeast. Flavor is all the same with some spices and a nice crisp finish that lingers. Another great Allagash brew. DeadGuyFrank (347), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Sep 22, 2007 Quite delicious and very true to the style. Nice citrus bite, crisp, and utterly refreshing! Very well done and recommended!!
