Sep 29, 2007 This beer has a cloudy orange color with a golden head that fades rather quickly. it has a tangy smell of lemon grass and strong citrus. As you drink it there is a lot of clove and hops on the tounge. the clove kind of coats the back of your mouth as well as some hints of lemon and orange peel.

Sep 29, 2007 This is part of a beer club tasting. Only had one bottle but it was a decent taste for the price. Would like to try again after it poured great and left a nice after taste.

Sep 24, 2007 Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus, lemon, banana, wheat, and some yeast. Flavor is all the same with some spices and a nice crisp finish that lingers. Another great Allagash brew.

Sep 20, 2007 12 oz bottle - a liquid the color of a bleached dandelion, hazy with a white head atop. strong aroma of breaktast wheat , like frosted mini-wheats. starchy and sweet, with lots of residual sugar apparent, and lightly spiced. flavor is a mild wheat and spice, with a few estery yeast elements but largely a neutral body. very refreshing and and crisp finish despite some sweetness - appropriate for a warm late-summer’s night.

Sep 16, 2007 Pours a hazy golden colour with a medium frothy white head. Aroma of wheat, orange peal, clove, and slight hops. Initial taste is wheat, yeast, citrus, clove and corriander. Finishes with a soft sweet palate. Light body, crisp and dry finish that lurks you for more. Some minor head retention and lacing of the glass. A very enjoyable Wit.
