Jul 9, 2007 A very good wit. On par with my favorite version from Troegs, Dream Weaver. Had this in tap in the NC Outer Banks at the Outer Banks Brewing Station. This was my favorite of all. Very hazy yellow with huge head. Taste is of spice ( root beer ?) with a bit of sweetness. A great summer beer.

Jul 9, 2007 A foggy amber/orange hue with a large creamy white head. Lots of spices in the nose coupled with a very noticable citrus and wheat aroma. Very nice carbonation and lacing. The citrus flavor of orange and lemon came through abundantly. This is a very nice clean crisp beer to be enjoyed on a hot summer day

Jul 9, 2007 The color was a hazy gold with orange hues. The head was white and laced. The aroma was yeasty with some grain. The flavor was refreshing and yeasty with a little bite to it. The palat was very nicely carbonated. The finish was yeasty.

Jul 8, 2007 750 ml Bottle - Pours cloudy/hazy yellowish-white, smells citrusy, somewhat spicy, tastes very citrusy - almost lemony - carbonation is perfect given that most Witbiers (in my opinion) have too little. Head formed nicely, but dissipated quickly. Drank it with a beer-battered brat - complemented it very well and was nice in the heat. Good brew.

Jul 4, 2007 A very pleasing spicy aroma with strong citrus scents. Pours a pale yellow colour , cloudy with a good white head. The body is light but moderately carbonated. Strong citrus with subtle spiced (perhaps...anise, corriander, vanilla) flavours. Excellent hot weather beer, strong citrus makes it very refreshing. I had it with Cambodian/Thai food and it matched very well.

Jul 3, 2007 Would drink this one again, but not at the top of my list. Pours a cloudly, light caramel/gold color. Large white head that dissipates slowly, leaving a small white head which stays throughout the beer. Nice amount of lacing. Aroma has a strong lemony scent. There was a bit too much carbonation, but overall a nice mouthfeel even though the carbonation gave it a bit of a bite. There was a citrus taste, a nice orange taste throughout. There was a bit of a lemon finish. Pretty good control of the taste, a nice mixture with the spices and all.
