benclarkiii (73), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Apr 8, 2007 Very pleasant surprise. The color and cloudiness were appreciated even though the head was absent - good lacing however. But the taste was right on. A hint of spice and citrus by not too much. I will definitely try more of their beers. LooseCannon (914), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Mar 24, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pour hazy golden color with small white head which does not last long. Wheat aroma, taste of wheat and spice with a dry finish. tomthompson89 (1456), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 24, 2007 very cloudy lotsa head, very citrusy, sour ,some yeast, big cloves on the nose. slightly sour with lotsa clove and pepper, slightly acidic. sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 19, 2007 Bottle: Cloudy gold in color with a white head. JimmyPsalms (1), USA does not count Mar 16, 2007 Love the hint of corriander. I agree that Allagash is one of the best at pulling off the Belgian Styles JCB (1713), Durham, North Carolina, USA Mar 12, 2007 On tap at Tyler’s, Durham. An excellent example of a wit, and as always Allagash is one of the few American brewers who can pull off Belgian styles in a meaningful way. Not the soppy stuff you get most of the time, this one delicately balances the spice and citrus in its golden body. Awesomely refreshing. bitbucket (2025), Kirkland, Washington, USA Mar 11, 2007 750 gusher. Pours hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Spice, yeast and lemon in the aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Soft, round taste of wheat, spice, lemon. Soft citrus finish. This is tasty stuff! ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Mar 11, 2007 Draught at Hopleaf. Fairly nondescript aroma; somewhat sweet. Truly white in appearance (as white as a Belgian White gets). They have the style appearance down. Thin, creamy head. Some lace. Very nice flavor. Better than Sam Adams White which I had the previous evening. Not as fruitloopy as the SA; more Belgian. Smooth and easily drinkable. Nice White.
