Allagash White

Sufferin’ allagash Daffy said it then and I am saying it now...thats what this beer is all about (plop)

Sour yeast aroma with some light spices in the background. Clear pale yellow color. Thin palate. Watery taste with light flavors of yeast and citrus. Not much to enjoy.

pours cloudy golden color with lacy white head. smells very nice and fruity with lemon aroma. spicy full flavor with hint of lemon grass and orange. very good belgian white..very enjoyable

cloudy yellow with a nice foamy head. Very sweet and fruity, a lot of citrus flavors and spices. Slight hops evident. A really good belgian white and would make an awesome summertime beer.

Lemon grass,yeast and a slight sourness in the aroma.Pours a hazy yellow with a large white head.Pretty good amount of sweet malt in the flavor.Thin to medium mouthfeel with a sweet finish.

Had a spicy aroma and a cloudy pour. A little more lemon came through in the flavor than I thought there would be.

This is about the third belgian whitbier Ive tried, after blue moon and hoegarden. I thought this was nice with a bit more spice than blue moon and hoegarden... nice orange and lemon flavor. ::: Second time, Im sampling allagash white through a 1/6th keg and it is way better than I remember it. I actually like this over hoegarden now.

a nice allagash, haven’t had a bad one yet. pour was nice, with slightly lemony and spicy aromas, cloudy as you would expect.nice wheat flavors and lemony orangey spices in the end.a very nice example of witbier done right.
