Allagash White

Brickskeller, Russian River / Allagash Lovefest. Hazy, yellow appearance; brilliant white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Medium, belgian-white aroma; light coriander and chewy orange. Medium mouthfeel: creamy; coriander and light tropical fruit; light carbonation. Light, yeasty and doughy finish.

DRAFT Cloudy yellow with white head / Nose of banana and spice / Llght, creamy body with good finish / Flavors of banana with undertones of orange, grass, and coriander with black pepper finish.

Tap @ Hamiltons. A very solid representation of the style. Probably as close to a Hoegaarden as you can get. Cloudy, sweet, fruity and all around great. This makes me wish it was summer as I could make an afternoon of drinking this.

Bottle. No head into cloudy orange-yellow body. Aroma of citrus fruit and spices. Slight bubble gum flavor. Dry crisp finish. Good summer time beer, too bad were in the dead of winter.

Bottle Yellow golden pour with no head. Light citrus aroma with a hint of hops and spice. Flavor definatly has some spice and honey sweetness flollowed by more citrus. Smooth mouthfeel, light and refreshing.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Some banana on the aroma, but mostly just orange/lemon citrus. Hazy yellow with no head. Flavors were similar with some spice and orange. Not too bad, not super exciting.

Hazy straw golden with a nice white foam head. Smells of wheat, lemons, and spice. Hops also apparent. Taste is dlicious and dry, hops and spices really kicking in initially and tapering off to a nice crisp finish...I really like this beer...more in my future.
