detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA Jan 13, 2007 Bottle marked Batch #3. The beer pours a hazy straw gold color, topped by 2" of white foam. Good head retention and lace. Mild lemon in the aroma. Wheat and honeymalt flavors, along with some citrus and yeast. Mild spice and more citrus in the finish. Medium body, good carbonation. Very refreshing and drinkable. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA Jan 11, 2007 beer pours the expected hazy yellow/white, with a lot of bubbles giving it a tall head that laces well. nose is quite nice, with the spice note (coriander) not being overwelmed by medicinal phenols (as often happens with these beers). flavor is crisp and dry, with a grassy malt note supplementing the spices. hops only noted as IBUs. palate is a bit astringent, but the over-all beer is still very good - am excellent summer quencher. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jan 10, 2007 Pours a hazy golden yellow white large bubbly foamy head. Nose is a complex and pleasant blend of many nice aromas: lemon, wheat, green grapes, and some spices. It was a refreshing drink with a nice light taste. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jan 9, 2007 Poured only a slightly cloudy gold in color with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, maybe a whiff of corriander. Flavor is lightly sweet with a touch of citrus and vinous grape - - fading into a lightly dry finish, almost like a chardonnay at the end.A little sharp and astringent on the palate with a medium body. Not what I expected, but good nonetheless. Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA Jan 8, 2007 bottle.
Cloudy urine color with a thin wehite head. Grains of paradise or coriander or something in the nose with a lavender scent too. Tastes like some flowers smell, only with a bit of paste. Some grape notes in the finish, but the glue flavor is really an ender for me. a definite on the not to buy again list.

GriffinAvenue (395), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA Dec 31, 2006 Bottle. Hazy, grapefruit-blonde in color. No head and few bubbles or carbonation. Strong mustard initial scent backed up by notes of lemon, grass. If I didn’t know better I’d think I was about to eat a hot dog. Flavor is yeasty with hints of chili powder. Pleasant body and follow through to the finish. Very nice; I’ll have another. Fightfire4beer (125), Virginia, USA Dec 27, 2006 Bottle. Hazy light gold with a thin white head. Spicy citrus aroma. Water and a hint of lemon, but overall light on flavor. Still a decent beer. A bonbright7 (173), Bellport, New York, USA Dec 23, 2006 I found this beer to be lighter than I expected from a wheat beer. It looked good in a pint glass and it was subtle with its fruit and hops. I thought it would good on tap and close second to the Ommegang Witt in overall terms.
