Allagash White

Pours an off cloudy yellow. Good head(keeps its retention) The taste is crisps and smells of wheat but I don’t like belgians too much. This falls short for me.

I’m tasting this side-by-side with the Allagash Grand Cru so that I can do a direct comparison... The Allagash White is a cloudy pale yellow color. Mild carbonation with a white crown. Aroma is doughy with hints of lemon and orange. Flavor is slighty sweet, wheat, and some subtle spice. Finishes yeasty and with some bitterness and spice. Light, smooth, and crisp on the palate. 12 oz bottle, $1.75 from River’s Bend.

Nice cloudy whet beer color, thin head that goes away quickly. nice flavor of citrus and other fruit. A good drinking white beer.

This was decent. A lot more like Blue Moon than Hoegaarden. It was more orange-yellow than white, but a nice, subtle citrus flavor. Would recommend.

Pours cloudy light orange color with thin white billowy head. Aroma is mild spiciness with a hint of yeastiness. Mouthfeel is good, since it is not overly thin like many witbiers. Taste is mildly spicy backed by sweet, and finishes clean. A good wit because it doesn’t taste watered-down.

Luckily have this on tap and a local bar. I really like this beer. Light yellow hazy color. Aroma is of spice and citrus. Sweet taste, with nice spice too it. Wheat undertone. Ending is great. Drink it frequently.

Solid belgian wheat beer. Fresh typical doughy aroma from the initial sip. Smooth but perhaps too sweet with a nice balance of spicies. Very nice

big fan, rivals belgian offerings but lets u express your patriotism for those who are jealous of your freedom. highly reccomend on a warm summer day watching womens football.
