COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

20th July 2008. Pale cloudy beer. Dry and spciy. A little wheat beer fruitiness struggles against the dry spice. Palate is a tad dry. Not bad though.

Pours gold and cloudy with a thin off white bubbly head. Smells of apples, peaches, and oranges. Tastes of oranges and grapefruit with a bitter slightly watery finish.

Pours slightly turbid, very pale yellow, with great head and lacing. Huge aromas of yeast, citrus, fruit, and hops. Tastes citrusy, yeasty, with hints of chardonnay and coriander. Finishes dry, crisp, slightly bitter with yeast at the end.

tap at blind tiger. Extremely cloudy pale yellow hue. Classy looking. Highly carbonated, but creamy mouthfeel at the same time. I love the expressive malt in here, cookie-ish and grassy. Lots of lime flavor, smooth witbier that manages to be flavorful and feel as light as can be.

Bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a large, lasting white head. Aromas of citrus and coriander. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of citrus and criander with a crisp, refreshing finish. Would be a great summer thirst quencher.

Bottle, shared last night. Somewhat hazy gold pour with a big white head. Yeast, bread, spices and sweet malts hit the nose. Flavor is very yeasty and bready. Pretty creamy mouthfeel. Well done style by Allagash.

12oz bottle. Poured hazy medium golden with a sticky cap of white head.. lots of sediment suspended in there. The aroma picked up toasted wheaty notes and spices (coriander and orange zest come to mind) along with what seemed to be oaky character.. more of the citrus as it warmed up. The flavor had pale, rather non-descript malts at the core with citrus zest and spices surrounding.. dry, grainy, and a little cardboardey.. a tad sour (in a good way) on the rather quick finish. Light-medium-bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. grainy and sour.. man.. this wasn’t bad, but it tasted like it was old.

Bottle. High white and lasting creamy off-white head. Hazy yellow green body. Fruity aroma and flavor of mainly banana with high carbonation and a long aftertaste.

750 ml Bottle. Toronto Christmas Party 2004. Light hazy pastel yellow body. Tart yeasty lemon citrus aroma. Flavour has plenty of tart wheat with some notes of lemon throughout. Bit bland, but a decent Wit. Palate was a touch light for a wit but average otherwise. Thanks to whomever brought this, it has been on my wishlist for a while.
