Floral aroma with light notes of spice. The flavor was sweet and yeasty with spiced notes. Light bodied. (Wow just checked and it looks like I stole the flavor profile from the rating below me. Oh wiil I didn’t) Sammy (4069), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Bitter finish, with lemon to enhance the weak impression on the palate. Probably good for grilling chicken or fish. Much better in he bottle, more colour and richer mouthfeel. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 29, 2006 Bottle. Poured cloudy, oily pale yellow with a thin white head. There’s light spice and sweet banana/lemon malt, but initially it’s funky/sour not pleasant herbal hops dominating - it stays funky, but that’s the hops? I’ll buy it, let’s see about the ... taste: decent generic spicy/fruity and sharp, nice quick finish. Mouthfeel is watery, very sharp, acidic ... not all that great. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2004 750 ml Bottle. Toronto Christmas Party 2004. Light hazy pastel yellow body. Tart yeasty lemon citrus aroma. Flavour has plenty of tart wheat with some notes of lemon throughout. Bit bland, but a decent Wit. Palate was a touch light for a wit but average otherwise. Thanks to whomever brought this, it has been on my wishlist for a while. Rciesla (3915), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

I smelled no discernable aroma from it. It had a tingly mouthfeel and a mild bread flavor. Nothing much here.

Re-Rate:
The first sample came from the Dayton Ale fest. Later when we came home, we found a bottle of this in the beer stash. Hence the re-rate. From the bottle, the aroma was more discernable as a mild floral malty one. The head was much larger and the body was much more hazy due to the yeast in the bottle we poured. The mouthfeel was more bubbly and finished more smoothly. Thflavor was also more noticeable with elements of malt and coriander appearing. All-in-all, I gave it a 5-3-6-4-13 at home. Combining this rating with the other I bumped up the aroma from3 to 4, flavor from 5 to 6 and overall fom 10 to 12. Thus proving what we already know to be true that a bottle is better than a sample!
