COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

On tap at Side Bar in Wes Chester. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Nose is of banana, clove, and bready malts. Tons of aroma and taste for a Belgian White. A tad bitter with a full mouth feel but light body. Finish is nice and long.

Cloudy straw color, some lace but little and shortlived head. Light body, moderately flavorful, avg texture, long palate, bitter finish. Delicately bitter, off-dry, refreshing, never excessive acidity, Yeast, cloves flavors but not resiny or citrusy, a little fruity. Nice summer beverage. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The lightest beer I sampled to date. Light straw in color. Very nicely carbonated but with almost no foamy head to speak off. Traditional spice bill . Traditional taste with overpowering spiciness. Thin feeling in the mouth. Too spicy for my likes. Something my wife would get me after cutting the grass.

Draft at Julianís, Providence. Pours a oudy and dull straw color, lots of white head. Nose crisp and citrus-forward, the way I like em. Body light and sylphic, slight tanginess. Just right.

12 fl. oz. bottle, bought somewhere in a small bar in northern Vermont, could be in Middlesex. Pale unclear yellow in the glass, white head. Hop and fruity honey on the nose. Starts hopy with yeast, malt and a fruity and spicy aftertaste. A little bit flatter to the end. Really nice one.

Better than my rating. Hazy yellow. Not much on the nose. Taste is lemon grain malt and hops all mild. All blended.

12oz bottle with no bottling date.

A: Pours pale yellow/off-white hazy with a fluffy white head.

A: Spicy yeast, banana, cloves, floral notes and herbal hops.

T: Burst of spices, cloves, coriander, floral hops, yeast, wheaty malt.

P: medium-bodied, smooth and creamy with decent carbonation.

O: One of the better witbiers Iíve had; quite heavy-handed on the spices but thatís to be expected of the style.

Its color was light yellow with a hazy body that produced a light white colored head. The head had a soapy appearance with large and small bubbles that hang out for a long time and make nice spotty lace on the glass. The aroma is full of wonderful malty wheat tones, yeast and spice. It has a bright vibrant flavor and smooth palate. It has a mostly sweet malt with some wheat tang and nice mild yeast flavor. Coriander and Curacao orange peel give it a good spicy and bitter/sweet citrus touch that works well with the very mild and slightly herbal hops. A smooth creamy texture, medium body and lively carbonation give it a very refreshing character.
