3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
FROM NOTES: October 21, ’13.
A: Yeast, corriander, citrus (lemon), grassy hops.
A: Pours a hazy yellow that is very light and faded in color. A strong head that quickly recedes.
T: Citrus hops, lemons, spices, Belgian yeast, coriander, floral hops, fruity and bready malts, orages, pepper. More spice here than the nose.
P: Light-medium body; high carbonation; crisp and refreshing.
O: A nice Wit but perhaps a little strong in the spice department. Definitely one to try if you’re at all a fan of the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Somewhat cloudy straw colored beer with a thin fizzy white head that disappears quickly. Nose of coriander, white sugar, and lemon. Flavor has some bitter lemon initially that gives way to a bit of nebulous spiciness and finishes with a mild, barely discernible, bitterness. The mouth feel is crisply effervescent and light. This is a pretty standard WIT--not great, but not bad.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes. Rcvd in trade.
The appearance had a hazy straw yellow color with a small fizzy head that doesn’t last long, lacing speckles the sides of the glass.
The smell had some light citrus, clove and coriander.
The taste had some spiciness through the previously mentioned flavors with some added malty wheat, lemon and yeastiness.
The palate was about a light to medium, fairly drinkable leaving a peppery aftertaste and finish.
Overall, not a bad beer, but definitely one of the better Allagash beers I’ve had.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle poured into weizen glass. Cloudy straw color with hardly any head. Smells of wheat, bit of coriander and orange peel, also smell bubblegum. The taste is light on the orange, heavy on the wheat. Nice light medium body and easy drinking. Simple not complex. Overall, decent.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Delicious crisp beer, poured with an enthusiastic white head with good lacing, spicy and fresh fruity scents but more polite than a Hefewizen -which i was happy of! Balanced taste of coriander, citrus and clove. Good mouthfeel with moderate body, some fizzy on tongue but finishes clean and dry. As a "hop head" and not a huge fan of wheats, I must say this is one of my favorite non-hop-forward creations. Can't wait to have some more and maybe some to share.
