rosebud (47), Portsmouth, New Hampshire, USA Feb 12, 2001 I am amazed that something this good came out of the U.S. This beer has an amazing palate that lingers long after you’ve finished. This is a beautiful white beer that can rival any imported. mrbeakersalesman99 (17), USA Feb 24, 2001 I thought the Belgian Hoegaarden was the best white beer out there until I had this...beautiful, foamy head (cloudy) with a citrusy taste that lingers on the palate! Beeradvocate.com99 (8), Massachusetts, USA does not count Jul 27, 2001 Perfection in a bottle, Whogarden? hunter13 (1), California, USA does not count May 24, 2006 Updated: Jul 30, 2007my favorite beer in the 750ml corked bottles. also my favorite style and have had most that i can get my hands on. mtdshn (174), Moline, Illinois, USA Dec 7, 2005 Bottle. Pours the greatest hue of orange with a pretty minimal head. Yeasty scents abound with a slight starfruit scent towards the end. Banana flavors with slight nutmeg aftertaste. Sparking mouthfeel. This is the best Belgian white I’ve had. It’s like spring in a bottle. Sammys (428), Portland, Maine, USA Jul 23, 2000 This is a wonderful beer. After having spent some time in Brugge and having a certain affection for Witbier, this is a welcome treat, since most Wits are not imported to the US. Who needs Hoegaarden when they make this stuff down the road a few miles? I would rate this on par with, if not even a little bit better than Hoegaarden. Nice aroma, nice spicy touch, great cloudy color...A fabulous brew! jcalbi (378), New Jersey, USA Jun 8, 2002 Lovely golden color with a chill haze appearance. Soft and fluffy white head. Aromas of orange, coriander, cinnamon and pepermint(?). Flavor of orange and coriander come through. The beer has a peppery, zesty appeal. Sooo smoooth for a wit. Awesome! Tippie4 (97), Auburn, Maine, USA May 27, 2001 OH MY. Something this good from the U.S.? Something this good from Maine? This is a must try it is a very good beer know matter where its from. make me be proud to be from Maine :)
