COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

The best American white beer I’ve tasted. Better than Victory’s even.

Hey this is good. I had a bad batch once and it put me off. Either they changed it completely in 2 years or my batch was skunked first time around. Anyways in the tradition of its style this is a fruity sweet beer with lots of complex flavor. I wish I had it with an orange or lemon as that is how I usally drink this style. The only thing I can thing of negitive is that it is slightly more sour( the bad batch very sour) than Blue Moon or Hoegarrden which to me is not a good thing. However it may be the lack of fresh fruit that is making me think this. I recomend this highly but the price is a bit steep.

This super delicious. Very light and drinkable. Creamy white head that lingers, good lacing. Spicy, lemony aroma. Yeasty, lemon. Quality all the way through. Leaves you wanting more.

Among the domestic white wheats, this offering from Maine is really a standout. It has a wonderfully cloudy complexion and a strong spicy aftertone. Particularly for summer drinking this one is a favorite. Bottoms up!

Terrific Belgian white beer. A very crisp beverage with hints of New England spices. It has a cloudy yellowish gold color that provides a citrusy flavor and a refreshing yeast aftertaste.

big bottle, nice presentation. Traditional witbier with a few other complex flavors in there. Maybe a little more spicy than traditional, but doesn’t take away.

Mmmmmmmm......tasty. This beer has a very light finish and a great fruity body. I like it best in the huge bottle!

Presentation: (Labeled Batch # 33.) It was poured from a brown, corked and caged 750ml bottle into a witbier tumbler. Appearance: Its color was light yellow with a hazy body that produced a light white colored head. The head had a soapy appearance with large and small bubbles that hang out for a long time and make nice spotty lace on the glass. Smell: The aroma is full of wonderful malty wheat tones, yeast and spice. Taste/Mouth feel: It has a bright vibrant flavor and smooth palate. It has a mostly sweet malt with some wheat tang and nice mild yeast flavor. Coriander and Curacao orange peel give it a good spicy and bitter/sweet citrus touch that works well with the very mild and slightly herbal hops. A smooth creamy texture, medium body and lively carbonation give it a very refreshing character. Notes: Very well done!!!

Bottle. Very nice appearance large head and hazy body. Aroma is nice with bananas, bread, and pear. A bit fizzy but nice finish. One of the best white beers I have had.
