But, it still does not even come close to hoegaarden white, which is hands down my favorite belgian white. This beer is certainly still worth a try. A nice refreshing and easy to drink beer. Pours a cloudy yellow with lively carbonation and a nose of yeasty sweet bread with a touch of raisin. Flavor is sweet bread with a slight plumb finish. Thick and slippery mouthfeel. Nice start to the tasting. shoeshineboy (81), Youngstown, Ohio, USA

Grassy, floral, slightly spicy aroma, with a nice, light, spicy taste. Went down totally smooth and is a great beer for a hot summer day. mustangjoe (172), redondo beach, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 10, 2005 Medium yellow, hazy appearance, with a large, frothy head to start that diminished rather quickly. Very nice spicyness in the aroma. Both citrusy and spicy in flavor. Probably not the best time of year to try for the first time, but it was still a pretty good Witbier. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2007 Tap @ Hamiltons. A very solid representation of the style. Probably as close to a Hoegaarden as you can get. Cloudy, sweet, fruity and all around great. This makes me wish it was summer as I could make an afternoon of drinking this. sinkr (241), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 21, 2008 Bottle->tulip: Pours a large, white, lasting head that exhibits spare lacing on top of a cloudy, yellow body. Aroma is of cookie, herbs, and light bacteria with some cookie notes as well. The body is light, the texture is sticky, and the finish is astringent. Short flavor duration, lightly sweet, acidic, and bitter and finishes vinegary.
Not a bad beer for the summertime, but I think there are other, cheaper alternatives out there that would work better. alexanderj (2290), Chino Hills, California, USA

Light yellow hazy color. Aroma is of spice and citrus. Sweet taste, with nice spice too it. Wheat undertone. Ending is great. Drink it frequently.
