COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

A fabulous beer all around in an under-rated style. Wheats get little respect from many in here, but this is one that should be savored. Pours a beautiful hazy yellow with a small white head. Consumed sans fruit. Aroma is strong citrus and floral notes - some lemon, perhaps some rose or vanilla as well. Flavor is a wonderful blend of sweet malt and just a touch of bitterness to balance out the brew. Yeasty esters are prevalent in aroma and flavors. I’m a big Allagash fan. This is one reason why.

Bottle: Pour a cloudy pale yellow with minimal head but decent lacing. Aroma of banana, bubblegum, slight spicyness. Light bodied, very drinkable.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a pint glass. The color is a cloudy orange-yellow with a soft, light foamy head. The smell is very pleasing to the nose it is full of citrus wheat flavor. A big of a sugary zest flavor that is quite sweet. The taste has a nice citrus, like grapefruit flavor that mixes well with the light wheat flavor. It also has a slight bitterness that is just enough to keep this beer from being too sweet. This is a great crisp, light, refreshing beer. Is easy drinking and only lightly carbonated.

This was an amazing wit. Very flavorful and drinkable. The citrus really came through on this one with some nice spices. Very well balanced flavors. The subtleties are very delicate with this beer, and I could drink this all day.

Appearance: very appetizing--cloudy, creamy gold with a nice smooth head. Aroma: light fruit/citrus, sharp pine, lots of cloves. Taste: subtle yet bright citrus fruit, pine, coriander, clove, pepper, creamy wheat. Finish: medium length and strong, yet fresh, clean and very refreshing. Notes: Great wheat beer; creamy yet crisp and very refreshing. Could drink this every day. Very complex.

Pleasant aroma with biscuit and yeast going with little spice. Pouring into a large wine glass left little of the white head (probably a bad poor on my part). Taste is perfect for me in a white ale. The spice note are very subdued and blend well with biscuity malt and wheat character of it. I’m not a fan of zealous use of coriander so this beer really pleases the palate. It has a nice lingering aftertaste to it as well. Definitely the best white/wit ale I have tried.

750ml #7. Pours a beautiful hazy honey color. Cloves are ever present in the nose. Semi-sweet delectible flavor. The spices shine through, delicate yet bold. The aftertaste leaves a peppery dry flavor. Excellent as an aperitif or a lazy summer beer. Big and beautiful. I'm happy to make this my 100th ratebeer.

A tad darker than the Hoe, lacking the greenish tinge. Pretty white head fades away almost completely over the glass. Aroma is of coriander, oranges, cloves, and spice. The palate is a hair rough. The flavor is great, grainy wheat balanced out by an interplay of spice, yeast, and fruits. A favorite.
