Bottle purchased at Sam’s Wine and Spirits, in Chicago. Pours a cloudy pale straw with a fluffy white head that leaves behind sticky lace. The nose is just about my ideal for the style: full sweet wheat, orange peel, spice (coriander, perhaps a touch of grains of paradise and white pepper) and a light candy sugar note at the finish. Light-bodied and soft without feeling thin, it finishes just a tad tart and dry. A nicely balanced wit with notes of sweet wheat, citrus and light coriander. This is a very solid witbier and is among the best that I’ve sampled to-date. I wish I had picked up more of this one.

Oct 12, 2008 Pours cloudy golden orange with a really nice white head. Great citrus/spice aroma, and a really refreshing taste with near-perfect carbonation. Smooth and lovely.

Oct 12, 2008 Draft. Pours a nice clear gold color with an extreme white head to it. Goes down exteremely smooth and has a nice taste to it.

Oct 8, 2008 Hazy yellow body with a slight yeasty browning color and a creamy white head. Very potent spice and coriander aroma. Slight lemon and orange citrus notes. Very nice tastes, smooth wheat body with some coriander and lots of oranges. Crisp light hops to finish the sip.

Oct 4, 2008 12oz bottle, poured a nice clear gold color with a frothy white head, that dissipated fully. Very aromatic, with hints of wheat, malt, cloves, spices, lemon, and grass. Taste of wheat, lemon, and spice. Very crisp and light mouthfeel, quite quenching. Great beer!

Sep 30, 2008 Deep gold, cloudy pour with a big foamy head that lasts. Nice aroma of yeast, wheat, banana, lemon and spice. Flavor is good as well, with the yeast lemon peel and spice shining through. Very refreshing on the palate, makes you want more. An overall good wit.
