3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle in tumbler. Right upon twisting the cap, there’s a smell of cheap lager. I finally catch a little coriander as it settles. Pours slightly cloudy, but clears as it warms up a little. Could this be more an interpretation of a Blue Moon? Well, taste brings in some nice sharpness from spices and a little more hop than the style should need. While I’m not the biggest fan of wheat esters, I actually missed them from this beer. But... swirling the last bit in the bottle and pouring the yeast gave me a familiar cloudy body and a light custard head, however brief. More of the usual wit flavor was there. Yeah, that’s it. The yeast must have settled more than usual and needed to be stirred in better. Carry on.

Fad: På restaurant i Sausalitto. Whats not to like. Lysegul uklar øl med et stort skumhoved. Tydelig belgisk wit med et amerikansk tvist. Let syrlig fra appelsinen. Dejlig frisk og ekstrem drikbar med masser af karakter.

On tap at Side Bar in Wes Chester. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Nose is of banana, clove, and bready malts. Tons of aroma and taste for a Belgian White. A tad bitter with a full mouth feel but light body. Finish is nice and long.

Light body, moderately flavorful, avg texture, long palate, bitter finish.
Delicately bitter, off-dry, refreshing, never excessive acidity,
Yeast, cloves flavors but not resiny or citrusy, a little fruity.
Nice summer beverage.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The lightest beer I sampled to date.
Light straw in color. Very nicely carbonated but with almost no foamy head to speak off.
Traditional spice bill .
Traditional taste with overpowering spiciness.
Thin feeling in the mouth.
Too spicy for my likes.
Something my wife would get me after cutting the grass.

Draft at Julian’s, Providence. Pours a oudy and dull straw color, lots of white head. Nose crisp and citrus-forward, the way I like em. Body light and sylphic, slight tanginess. Just right.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 fl. oz. bottle, bought somewhere in a small bar in northern Vermont, could be in Middlesex. Pale unclear yellow in the glass, white head. Hop and fruity honey on the nose. Starts hopy with yeast, malt and a fruity and spicy aftertaste. A little bit flatter to the end. Really nice one.
