Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White delicately balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice. Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.

Bottle. Poured a light cloudy yellow with a small creamy white head that was fully diminishing and had fair lacing. The aroma was very mild of grainy malts, light herbal hops and a strong moldy yeast with notes of coriander, pepper and citrus(orange peel I believe). It tasted moderately bitter at first for a wheat ale and ended with a light bitter yeasty flavor that had hints of spices and orange peel with the flavor not lasting long at all. Mouthfeel was light in body and creamy in texture with a nice soft carbonation. Overall a nice creamy wheat ale, actually nicely surprising.

A very solid beer. Kind of like those Disney movies from your childhood- Approachable even to the novice but with character depth and cheeky twists (I’m looking at you Coriander) that make it worth revisiting long after your palette develops. Drank it today on a sunny patio. A slice of bliss

I had this at Butch McGuires. Pours very pale yellow, cloudy with a white head. Taste sweet, citrus, Belgian yeast. I thought this was good, I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy, straw colored with a white head. Pleasant fruity aroma with a hint of clove. Light fruity taste with hints of citrus, melon and spice. Just a hint of hop bitterness.
