2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy yellow. Has a orange, citrus, wheat and yeast aroma. Taste isn’t too strong for a tripel but has some hints of orange and wheat.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Tyler’s, Durham. Faintly cloudy straw gold pour, with a big prickly head. Raw and ripe looking. Nose of strong yeast, clove, mild funk, and tons of Sorachi hops. Loads of bright hops and citrus rind in the taste, along with a bracing yeast that seems to ground the bitterness fairly effectively. As Sam said, I wouldn’t trade this for their regular tripel but I enjoyed it.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours hazy orange/yellow with thick lacy head. Smells yeasty and sweet. Taste is very refreshing. Lots of yeast and malt, sweet, some sour, lots of spices. Somewhat sticky sweet finish, but still refreshing. Lingers a bit with sweet spiciness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft @ Sunset Grill and tap. Tulip glass shows a perfect unclear gold with light retention. Nose is candi sugar and light yeast. Flavor is all about the yeast. Wheat, candi sugar upfront. Fruit notes of peach and apricot. Followed by a nice dry hopping. Real spicy aftertaste. Dry texture with a cotton ball feel. Alcohol is masked really. Very flavorful triple, nice offering as always from Allagash!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Peppery yeast and light citrus and grassy hops. A slight bit buttery and off but still pretty nice. Yeast dominated this beer and made it muddled a bit.
