4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at Craft Ale House, and one of my favorite Allagash beers of all time. Pours hazy dark straw with clingy off-white head. Nose is floral sorachi hops, limey citrus, yeasty funk. A lot is going on in this aroma. The flavor is crisp and pops in your mouth. Upfront yeasty funky notes give way to hopcitrus, floral spiciness, and a crisp finish.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
it’s got that tripel yeast character in the nose (like duvel), some nice floral/citrus hops, estery. some alcohol sweetness. fairly clear light golden color, with a big white head that falls quickly. good dose of hop flavor to balance the alcohol. not overly bitter. sweet note in the middle. solid medium body. hop bitterness builds in the finish/aftertaste.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at The Bishop’s Collar in philadelphia, PA.
Pours a cloudy golden yellow color with pineapple blonde edges and a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Streaky lacing left behind.
Slightly floral aroma with a nice earthy, grassy hop presence that compliments the base very nicely. Estery light fruit notes, bread, zesty spice and alcohol.
Medium bodied with a nice hop bite up front that compliments the zesty spice. Earthy and grassy hops with peppery spice and coriander followed by bready yeast and estery light fruit notes. Hints of apple, banana, pear and bread followed by subtle alcohol sweetness. Really well balanced and the hops area really nice addition to the base beer. Insanely drinkable and very refreshing with a well masked ABV. Great beer!

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma: Banana, light fruity notes
Appearance: Golden amber with robust white head
Taste: Bouquet of fruit flavors; various citrus, fresh oranges, apples, bananas plus some floral elements
Palate: Light body with a medium mouthfeel
Overall: Exceptional beer; the flavors start very subtle, but as I get in to this the layered complexity is amazing. Numerous fruit flavors cut by a very subtle hoppy bitterness.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at Mekong. Almost forgot to rate this, which would have been a shame, seeing as how it is all awesome and stuff. Poured a lightly hazy gold with a nice head, pretty. Aroma was lemony hops - but not sour. Flavor was gummy sticky pale malts, followed by a pleasant belgian yeast spiciness, and then finishing with a very clean, not harshly bitter hop finish, slight lemon and grapefruit. One of the very few occasions where big hop flavors melded almost perfectly with a very belgian beer. Loved this one. Bitterness definitely lingered on the palate - but again, not harsh. Really well done.
